I think if the Jets get him and Slauson is healthy they are right back where they were in 2010 in terms of protection. If they get him and a left guard in the 1st round it's probably the Jets best offensive line ever. Slauson would backup and then replace Moore when he goes.

The Texans need cap room to try and get Peyton. How ironic, "Hey Peyton come play on our team, but we have to cut our tackles in order to pay you" ...
Signing Winston will take away a huge glaring need for this team. It will allow us to focus our draft completely on our D or maybe a wr.

So I visited a texans board, texanstalk.com, to see what they thought of their released right tackle. While they all seemed suprised, it seems pass protection was not one of his strengths. hate to poop in everyone's cheerios but...this guy excels in a zone-blocking scheme. we don't play that no more. Callahan's in Dallas now.
or maybe not? for all i know he could have never played a man-blocking scheme in his life. someone cease my uncertainty.
