Then Rick must be the dumbest motherfucker on the planet, because he just killed Shane by stabbing him in the stomach and then walked away from him. Although it would explain why he gave the fat guy in the bar a double-tap.

Anybody find it rather retarded that Rick and Shane walked through the woods for god knows how long and when they have their showdown, they're pretty much right the fuck in front of the farm? Shane leads Rick to right in front of the farm to 'secretly' kill the leader of their group? Really? That was so fucking stupid.

There were some really captivating shots at the end with the Moon in frame during Rick and Shane's showdown.

 

Yes... quite retarded there. When that scene was unfolding, before you realized they were back at the farm, I expected Daryl and Glen to come up behind and maybe cap Shane instead. That would have made a lot more sense. The whole thing with Carl shooting him instead and getting him on the first shot was more than a stretch.

 

Good thing Shane was about to kill Rick in that ultra-secret spot, specifically the open field, 100 yards away from the farm on a moonlit night.

 

And WTF was Carl doing out running in the dark after they herded everyone inside earlier?

 

Yeah, kinda dumb. Of course, there were a lot of holes in Shane's plan. I guess they had to be close enough to the barn so Carl could see them from his look out spot -- but they could have just easily made him follow them from the start.

 

End of the world is near....

The plot holes in this show are absolutely terrible. The writers assume us viewers were all born with an extra chromosome
