When I was a kid we used to put garbage pails in front of the net, they played better than him, at least the garbage pail covered the 5 hole...

    Andrew Gross ‏ @AGrossRecord

Biron says of first goal, Zack Smith slap shot, "It was a bomb." Says it was perfectly placed, foot and a half off ice, just inside post.

Great excuse, as bad as Thomas complaining about the lights, a 35 foot slapshot no screen, play your angle right and the puck hits you stupid and not the twine!

Really? I'm not going to be unhappy to see Ottawa get the Rangers either, seeing as we've got a 3-1-0 record against you this season, outscored you 14-8 and won both fixtures at MSG.

I look up and down at the team and I'm really wondering who's going to do the scoring. Richards' mediocre year is being masked by overall a great team season, Gaborik is his usual score-in-bunches or not at all self, Cally is playing pretty exceptionally but by no means is he someone who can carry an offensive load...I'm not going to start crying the sky is falling but there's gotta be someone who gets their act together and provides some stability. We're turning into a team that has no firepower to play from behind.

Every team has one, but ours can actually play as well. Everyone likes a player that can do this

Even if Kreider does make his debut in time for, or in the midst of the playoffs, you can't put your chips in on him being the answer for scoring. Quite a different game from success in the ECAC's to success in the NHL

Ha. I wouldnt get too nervous. We havent had a bad stretch all year. We lost two in a row. It feels like 7 since we havent experienced this yet this year....we'll be aiiigiht. But we do need to score somehow.

I'm not sure why, we've had your number all season. In your position, I'd much rather face a Crosby and Letang-less Pittsburgh, or a misfiring Capitals side. The Senators aren't going deep this season and they aren't the most daunting opposition in the conference, but we seem to match up well with the Rangers and if I were you I'd be hoping that you manage to stumble across the line ahead of a charging Philly and get to face the Caps or the Sabres. (The Jets are a wildcard that no-one wants, that arena is going to be ferocious if they make the postseason.)
