If we signed Peyton it would be Jet Favre all over again, he'd come out of the gate, look strong, then eventually get hurt or slow down, and either we miss the playoffs or go out on a first round exit. Then what? Get set back another few years, oh how fun. Its funny how most of the Giants fans were campaigning to get rid of Eli back in his 18 INT and 20 INT years. Imagine if they actually cut him before that superbowl? How stupid they would look now? If we cut Sanchez I guarantee you that would happen to us.
I will wait until he throws 3 td's in week 1 to do that, and leads the Jets to a win.. Oh, and Sanchez will probably be bagging groceries somewhere while that happens.
Again, what is the difference, assuming your scenario plays out? Sanchez is junk. With him here, they will need another qb next year either way.
Why do people put so much emphasis on stats? Sanchez has a winning record (and a winning postseason record, all on the road). So what if he doesn't average 400 yards and 5 TDs a game, as long as the team wins, why should you care how it's done? Bagging groceries. Really? what an ignorant statement.
This is what happens when people watch the game through Fantasy Football goggles. OH GAWD, HE DINNA GET 500 YRDS PASSING AND 7TDS. HE SAWKS!!1
Really it's only been a few lately. Milcus and Soxxx seem to be the Pres and VP of the stupidity movement though. They can fight to the death with sporks to see which is which.
I hear ya, I’ve had my arguments with Milicus and its not even worth it. He’s passed borderline troll. Its funny how he calls people who "defend Sanchez" and simply ask for another year in a new system a Sanchez Fan- someone who is more a fan of Sanchez than of the Jets, meanwhile he names someone his QB who isnt even on the Jets roster. Its not worth it.
Ahhh, I see you're starting your campaign. Milcus and Soxxxx have a nice lead, you have a lot of catching up to do.
Lol, they were secretly being trained. They now have their chance to...... Well fuck I don't really know what their goal is.
If you really prefer one of the worst statistical QBs in the league to a guy who is arguably the GOAT, you are obviously not very intelligent. Elite QBs are arguably the most valuable assets in all of sports. There's a reason why Brady, Rodgers and Manning deserve all the money, fame and accolades they get - because they are truly THAT fucking good. An elite QB can single-handily turn a crappy-to-mediocre team into a SB contender practically overnight.
