We're in the market for a cheap WR2. I think it makes sense bringing back BE with an incentive laden deal.

I will shed a tear if he returns. I really want him back. I think he kept Holmes in his place.

    Oh yeah?

Well I'm annoyed at you for thinking I'm annoying.

    How about THAT?

What in the world does Braylon have to do with Routt, the Raiders, and the Chiefs ?

He's asking whether any free agent, citing Routt as an example, can be signed by a team at this point.

I would be very interested in seeing Holmes reaction if the Jets resigned Edwards.

I think a more interesting pole would be if Edwards is resigned, who will throw him more TDs. Sanchez or Henne?

If he's real cheap I'd lean to no.

Id rather go younger. Bring in the best speedsers available and see where it leads. How the heck does Pittsburg do it?

I love Braylon and think him and Mark found great chemistry in year two of his run in New York.

That said, I don't see Tanny/Rex going back on the decision to let him go.

Unless Braylon can prove, without a shadow of doubt, that he is done being an immature idiot off the field I just don't see Tanny going back on his decision to let him walk.

So allowing Holmes to be an idiot on the field is less detrimental to the team?

Forehead is not going to be a Jet. Even if he was he would not be first string. As bad as Sanchez has been at times Henne has never looked better.

I say if you can get edwards cheap which I think any team will, 1 year 1-2 mill or vet min which I think is like 900,000. Do it. Wasnt that his contract last year?? or was it 3 mil?

He is coming off an injury but him and sanchez here good he dropped alot less balls in his 2nd season with jets and he loved NY. Yes he does have off the field issues but if he messes up this year then I think no team will look at him after that and he knows that.

Has he had any off field issues this season? I can't remember any. Last thing I recall was that bar fight thing, and that was last off season. I still think he's worth it if he's still got that speed.

    +100000.

I couldn't give two shits what a player does off the field so long as he does the Job ON THE FIELD.

If there's even a shot that Braylon is :

    1.) Healthy

    and

    2.) Cheap

YOU BRING HIM BACK, PERIOD. This is a huge season for Mark Sanchez and his future as a Jet. You would want him to have EVERY opportunity to succeed and bringing Braylon back provides that opportunity.

A one year contract where he basically has to earn it
