almost neverlisten to this blowhard but i wanted to hear peopleget bat shite over the Knick loss last night. He was on the line with a guy that said even Jets fans to which he replied that he always saw empty seats at Jets home games. Then after he dumps the call goes on to call thecaller a whiny Jet fan jealous of the Giants. I turned his sorry ass off again he hasnt been shit sice dog left. At least he was gushing over Deron Williams the past few days (I'm a Nets fan btw). Now, he can claim he was right about DWill exploding against the Knicks this second time around.

Don't say this often but I agreed with his opening statement about Peyton & the Jets

 

What's the gist of what he said?

 

If you go after Manning you're going against everything you did in the offseason (wanting to go back to the '09 style team with the running game and defense dominating). It also makes you look disingenuous towards Sanchez (which, while true, I could give two shits about...it's a business man up). Also going after Manning is partly motivated out of fear and to respond to the Giants run.

i agree with it. i really do. i also believe that we are a few more pieces than just peyton manning away from a super bowl. spend the money on D and OL.
