I think the only team that would give us a fit right now is St. Louis, everyone else I have confidence we can beat. We should roll over CHicago and their shit defense
Chicago would be a concern if they weren't playing SO poorly right now. They haven't quite lost 9 in a row (only 6) but I think they only have one win out of their last 10 or 11 games. They're all around playing awful and their goaltending is beyond suspect
They have Steve Valiquette like goaltending, Crawford's in a huge slump and Emery just stinks....No Feds again...
PROJECTED LINES: Artem Anisimov | Derek Stepan | Marian Gaborik Carl Hagelin | Brad Richards (A) | Ryan Callahan (C) Brandon Dubinsky | Brian Boyle | Brandon Prust Mike Rupp | John Mitchell | Stu Bickel Ryan McDonagh | Dan Girardi Michael Del Zotto | Anton Stralman Marc Staal (A) | Steve Eminger By the way Girardi should have the other "A" not Staal...
I'm 100% on board with this. I have been for a while. More so as a testiment to Girardi's worth to the team. It's just tough because the only thing Staal did wrong (obviously not actually wrong) was missing time with the concussion.
Sorry I like Staal but playing 10 less minutes a game on the 3rd pair, Girardi plays 27 minutes on the top pair and like Cally leads by example...
Andrew Gross @AGrossRecord Anaheim Ducks with five, count 'em, five spots reserved for scouts at tonight's Rangers-Blackhawks game.
this shows just how much of an mvp lundqvist is. rotten 1st period. as i stated before , i don't like teams with long bad streaks, the law of averages especially in this tough league has to even out at some point. not over yet though, the boys can still pull this off, it would not surprise me if they comeback and make a game of this.
