SEC337----it is not as if the Yanks are not competative---they try and put the best team out there each year
But I do understand your giving up those ticket$.

I do not think the Jets put the best team possible out there! We all thought safety needed to be addressed after last year and it was not.
Many thought we had little off line depth coming into this year and we were exposed---ps I still hate the way they treated the kid Baxter as a scapegoat but I stray. Our safeties were not addressed after last year ----shocking to me ! Bottom line is I felt alot like you 337 in regard to getting my money in-------now if I were any of you guys I would not sweat it.

in keeping with the thread---this new place sux!

cbg < -----" no longer on sg3 's permanent ignore list because sg3 is once again banned for 7 days. oops my mistake he was reinstated today / and lasted about an hour and is now banned for another 14 days

    BULLSEYE!

This is it right here. This is what is going through peoples' minds now. Used to be, Jets tickets were a hot commodity and you were lucky if you got into a game at face. Okay, there were some very lean years in which, if I couldn't go, I had a hell of a hard time getting rid of the tickets at even half of face.

But we still bought the seasons because the experience was a great one... easy to park, easy to take the one-shot escalator, easy as hell to get out and away quickly, reasonable ticket prices, no PSLS, no Preseasons to buy, etc., etc.

Things are MUCH different now. And, as he says, there aren't many people "scared to lose their tickets" now. BFD. You go on StubHub and they're a dime a dozen. Good ones, too. PSL seats even. And you can cherry pick.

The Yankees do things the Jets could never do because they have a winning tradition. A buddy of mine has the Sat. package. They now make him buy a couple of weekday games with the package, not just Saturday's. That's new. They also changed Old Timers from Sat. to Sun. The Jets could never get away with that crap. Even though they have not won a Championship in years, they are always good. The Jets, who knows year to year

    Invoices just dropped.

If you pay through automatic bank withdrawals you get one of the following: $100 at concessions, Mangold Autographed football, Revis Autographed football, or 1/2 off parking.

Not sure if it's half off an additional parking spot or an existing.

Likewise. I'm sure their rationale is that they save the 2-4% credit card company fee, which adds up for them. Oh well.

I paid through installments and didnt see an option to select my little gift. The sham operation continues. Guess I'll have to make a call.

Get this - the guy who's been in charge of the Stadium from inception is leaving to become President of the Jaguars.

I suppose they haven't walked around Metlife, or they'd never have hired a guy who was in charge of building such a poor yet incredibly expensive stadium. Another fine example of someone getting a high paid top position, not doing a good job, then quickly leave for another plum job offered to him. He got out before needing to answer questions about the miserable Super Bowl experience some will have in 2014. Smart move Mark!

I usually pay with my AmEx, but plan on using this opportunity to knock $125 of the price through the 50% parking discount.

Next year, back to the AmEx.

Oh boy. It ends up being 5% of my bill, which is greater than a points return.

Unless you are getting more than a 1% return for points, this would give you 1.2% for what it's worth.

In regards to the ACH gift, apparently we get a confirmation email by weeks end where we pick. I'm pretty much set on taking the 50% off parking since it helps eat into the preseason loss.

Upgrading to green is like my wife going to Macy's to "save money" when it's all
"on sale." She "saves' us money but my fucking bill increases by $800. Some fucking savings.

No guys. Let's see through the lunacy, please. Shut these mother fuckers off and stop the insanity.

    Ridiculous!

Yes, Unless you did ACH last year then no. Must be in full to get the gift.

ACH is only good for 1st time users to get gift.

You guys all have me thinking:

Just saw people sell tickets for whole season on StubHub.

So i put my 8 tickets on there and included parking and 2 years worth of the 5 year PSL payment plan and will see if they sell.

8 Season tickets with 2 parking passes $10,500
1 year of 5 year PSL Plan $4,067
1 year of 5 year PSL Plan $4,067
    Total $18,634/8= $2,329.25 a seat

Selling Section 126 row 20 for $2,500 and Section 124 row 7 aisle for $3,000 both with parking. If they sell I will be a happy man. If not I can bump them down a year of PSL, $2,000 and $2,500. I feel like 200 and 250 a game is what I usually get a game except for preseason so this may work im hoping!!

Just buy the games I want to if not watch it on T.V. and tell family and friends no more tix at face value!

Will keep you posted if they sell!
