    I can't stand this guy anyway. I'd hate to root for him. I hope Ed Reed keeps clocking him for another 2 years or however long he has left.

    Why not. Not so much for his recieving abilities but:

    1) I bet he'd have a positive effect on Holmes.

    2) He'd be one tough WR in the run game.

    This post is one of the reasons that I rarely post on this site anymore.

    At least make a post that has some kind of sound logic and one that could make the Jets a better team.

    People were bashing a potential Welker signing. Hines Ward would be a million times worse than Welker. Ward is old and at the tail end of his career. He was great in his prime but that was years ago.

    I would love to bring Welker on board but not for his price tag. The guy is the ultimate gamer and would make the Jets a better team.
