Fair enough, but I think any Jet fan would love to win an AFCCG and enjoy the 2 weeks leading up to the Super Bowl. Sure, it absolutely sucks losing in a Super Bowl, but if you guys enjoyed losing in AFCCG, you would love getting to the Super Bowl.
Everyone like this page!!!! http://www.facebook.com/pages/Bradying/294540467268187?skip_nax_wizard=true I got a Tebowing page with over 50k likes, lets see if I can get this one to go big lol
What's the secret to posting YouTube vids again? Anyway . . . LMAO. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwvTPNMEEGI
I was just comparing your scenario to ours. I easily would have rather gone 8-8 than lose to Giants in the super bowl like you did. I would love to play the Giants in the Super Bowl, but comparing our current situations I'll take 8-8 over making and losing the SB to the Gmen.
^ As a Mets fan, that would remind me too much of the Mets losing to Yankees in the World Series. I don't think I could take something like that again...
Something else to cheer you up, though not us good as that video. Let them say what they want about Jets fans, but we're not morons! http://www.nj.com/super-bowl/index....ration_some_fans_forget_location_of_cars.html
Seriously, you'd rather go 8-8 instead of playing in the Super Bowl?????????????? But the majority of Jets fans think LOSING 2 AFCCG's is some sort of significant accomplishment. That could be the most ridiculous comment I have ever heard.
To be fair if the jets made the superbowl and lost it to the cmen, i might have to consider that the worst moment in franchise history
Bullshit. I think it's safe to say the majority of us aren't satisfied at all with simply showing up in the AFCCG.
You are just lucky enough to have ridden the coat tails of Brady and a great defense to a championship. In 43 years when you have nothing after this I will come and find you and take a giant dump on your keyboard. And when the Jets win the Super Bowl I will also come find you and take a giant dump on your keyboard. That is all. Fans of Boston teams aren't very intelligent. To get there and lose to the Giants would be even worse. At least in this case we could enjoy the pain that pats nation caused to the wonderful front runners. Funny how I see Pats fans mocking everyone who liked the Bradying picture yet they were the same morons making fun of Tebowing after the Pats beat the Broncos. Also, the same fans who don't support there teams when they aren't good. Funny if you ask a Patriots fan who the QB was before Brady maybe 30% could name Drew Bledsoe and if you ask before that maybe 10% could name them. Bandwagon nation. At least Jets fans support there team win, lose or draw.
A giant "dumb". Funny on many levels. Losing in the SB, regardless of how much you hate the team you may have just lost too (especially after 43 years without even making the big game) is WAY better than going 8-8.
Thanks I just fixed it and yes I agree with that but he is using it as if it is some sort of great accomplishment yet if we made the SuperBowl his response would be you didn't win so it doesn't count. Can't have it both ways.
... and if the Bills had won even one of those games they would be remembered as one of the best teams of all time, instead of a comical footnote.
Dude you have no idea what its like to share the same city with another team. Consider yourself lucky. Baseball, football, hockey. I really don't mind the Giants as many fans here on this board probably because I'm surrounded and fortunate to have giants friends who aren't assholes or obnoxious. But choosing to go 8-8 over a loss in the SB against the giants is something I might accept. You'll get different responses but you see some already agree.
That's true, I have no idea what it is like to share sports teams in one city. But I'm just as amazed as several posters have stated they would rather go 8-8 than lose in the Super Bowl to the Giants. I just don't get that.
