You'd have a hard sell with anything other than the '69 version of the Jets uniform. Folks are really slow to change and frankly, its the last link to our last championship. Don't hold your breath for a new uni in our lifetime.
No way is this happening. If you look at the Patriots uni its an American flag all chopped up on the jersey. No way the NFL allows that. This is all bogus. Besides Pro-Combat is the gear made by Nike thats worn under the unis.

Actually the first one you see on the OP's link when you scroll down is pretty tight - the Kelly green with the striped socks and NY on the helmet. I'd still prefer the ''swoop'' logo to the ''NY'' version but I think that's my favorite fan concept uniform so far.
Not sure if any of these proposed uniforms are real or not, but what I do know is that if Nike waves a new uniform in fron of Woody Johnson, and Woody Johnson thinks he can make an extra buck off a new uniform, the Jets will have a new uniform.
I agree. That one is pretty sweet. Just lose the NY logo and replace with an actual jet or jet themed logo and I think we have a winner. Think of it this way..our current uni's would make great throwbacks!

I think all those are pretty cool actually, but I absolutely despise all the Nike rumored ones. They look like they are catering to 10 year olds with their flashy combat type shit. The Jets uniforms are perfect as far as Im concerned, why touch them? People always want to fuck with things, if aint broke don't fix. Im pissed that Nike is taking over, they try way too hard to be cutting edge.
The more I read about it, I really like this guys ideals and his stance on the league and how to present it. I think a few teams could use a rehash. Bring back the old Bills uniforms (they wore them a lot this season actually), the old Patriots uniforms. The Jets are just where they need to be, I'd like to see Tampa Bay go back to what they used to be but maybe less creamsicle type. I totally agree with what this guy is saying about trying so hard to attract a newer and younger audience. Shit is getting too flashy when the sport is meant to be rugged.
I like the idea of a lot of those, but most are way too text based. Even ones that are too text based, what he created would serve as great wordmarks.
