Corner is probably the last place we have a need. Unless we're trading Cromartie, we have no use for this guy.
I think we have the best corner tandem in the league, but our sub Nickle and Dime packages would be sick, with even talented more corners. I mean, the jets are playing alot less base 3-4. However, yes we need to spend money some where else.
For some reason outside corners don't always translate so well to the slot if they are used to being on the outside. Just ask the Eagles.
What are the JETS going to gain by signing him? Can he play RT? Safety? WR? DE? Al Davis was known for spending what other teams wouldn't dare spend. This is actually a really good move on Oakland's part. IMO he is an over paid DB. If i am not mistaken, he was among the top CBs to lead the league in penalties committed and touch downs allowed.
If Wilson didn't play so well as a slot corner this year I wouldn't mind trying him out at FS. He plays physical and has good coverage skills.

My exact thought. Though Sanchez is very good at running blocking as we saw him take Cortland Finnegan out of the play last season. Maybe put him at RT.
