We are going to miss his presence in the red zone. People are quick to say don't let the door hit you in the ass, but our offense would have been REALLY bad if it weren't for our great red zone success this year.

I would have loved to have kept him just for the red zone, I guess that wasn't realistic though.

i guess i don't blame him. we had an off-year and he wants to get at the giants twice a year. we could do better anyway.

Or our offense could have been decent if we had a WR that could create some seperation. You've got to get to the redzone first. He had zero seperation.

I want the old core back anyway

Holmes, Braylon and Cotchery with a little Kerley and our rookie WR

We absolutely need to upgrade at WR across from Santurdio, but Plax was good for us in the redzone.

Doubt Cotch will ever be back, but there is an outside chance at Edwards,I still think we draft another Wideout this year.

funny, the only memories i have of him this season is that he had about 1-2 balls throw at him all game and that was either a ball overthrown by a yard or a curl route completely messed up by someone (hard to tell if it was QB or WR).

I hate Plax. He is the most one dimensional receiver in the leauge. Im glad he is going to the Eagles. I hate them too

If we block and run the ball well, a lot of guys can be good WRs, maybe Patrick Turner. Remember Cotchery was around in the same manner for a few years before anyone gave him a chance and realized he was good.

The best way to get back this year is Jets vs Eagles superbowl. Bring it on. Sorry, thats way out of line, I've been dogmatically optimistic the last few weeks. Anyway, we all know Plax sucked between the 20's, draft a guy. Im not sure what free agency offers but I want a team built for the future, even if that means no Superbowl this year. I want a dynasty. I am looking forward to seeing Kerley, develop, I think he should be great, but we need one more piece at wideout.

Didn't want him back anyway. Still don't think it's very nice of him to talk about wanting to play for another team while under contract, but I guess not nice behavior is expected of this guy.

I highly doubt Cotchery will be back. I'm lukewarm on Braylon only because of his injury and surgery last year. If he is the same player as before then yes. If not, time to move on. I actually would like to see us sign Garcon.

It's nice to see a professional athlete who shoots from the hip. If that's what Plax wants, then he should take a shot at it. Fire away. Go great guns. Both barrels blasting. Aim high. Maybe the Eagles'll be blown by his enthusiasm.

Go back to jail. Do not pass Go. Do not collect two hundred dollars.

    .....Fucking fuckball.

He doesn't fit their offense. The Eagles and Michael Vick are a down the field, vertical passing offense. That is no longer Plax's game. How much is Philly going to pay for a part time possesion receiver who is excellent in the red zone?

Fuck Plax. I'm sure he was one of the big mouth "unnamed sources" whining in the locker room.
Just get another good TE and you won't even remember he was a Jet.

Plax did nothing that Edwards couldn't have done, and actually couldn't stretch the field like Edwards could because he has no speed. We will miss his size and physicality in the red zone IF we don't find another tall. physical red zone target, but that's about it. I doubt we'll miss him in the locker room.......
