When does free agency start? Right after the super bowl? All I know is I'm very interested in what goes down this off season. It's going to be crazy.

Okay, so it comes down to familiarity with Sanchez and price.

I just thought that I was remembering a different player. He had some nice plays, and had all the ability in the world, but he was inconsistent and is coming off a knee injury.

I really hope B.Edwards is a Jet once again. He played his heart out for us. Fans loved him. He loved the fans. Did some great things for us. Especially on 3rd downs and long when it had to be done. Always put his body on the line. Had chemistry with Sanchez. I feel bad the way things played out for him in San Fran because I wanted to see him do well. Now I hope he comes back to the jets and does well with us. I can keep wearing his jersey.

There is almost 0 chance the Jets would bring him back even at the vet minimum, they have walked that dog.

Of course they did. He has two mirrors in his room.

He looks at them, and asks them if Braylon would be brought back.....

Don is a very funny guy.....in a very unintentional way.

Couldn't have said it better, and I'm shocked at how close the voting is here.

I have read through a number of pages of people asking you about this statement and not once have you responded. What discount? Begged? Where?

And, like many times before, he won't answer BECAUSE HE HAS NO ANSWER!!

Im pretty sure Braylon does have much options right now. Hes not wanted AT ALL. Hell last offseason he wasnt wanted at all and the 49ers signed him very late in free agency because no one else signed him. He lost any good reputation on the 49ers, he will come cheap and he knows that to. I think we didnt resign him last year because we all felt he would get paid 5-7 million elsewhere. It didnt happen. Signing him for 3 million woulda looked disrespectful when Holmes was making 50 million.

Now Braylon knows his value, he knows he isnt getting much, last year he thought he was getting much more.

By watching the way Tanny spoke to certain players on hard knocks ; you know they put it to him like Take what we offer or we'll go another way! Braylon produced and deserved to get a new deal , but was not retained because they thought cheap rather then quality.

If they don't sign Braylon, it's either because he never truly recovered from his Knee injury OR Tanny is simply a cheap, blithering idiot.

With the make-or-break season coming for Sanchez, you would think that the Jets would want to give him THE BEST OPPORTUNITY to succeed. Bringing back a Healthy(hopefully) Braylon whom Mark has a good rapport with on the field would be a major start to that....

Now that said, to answer your question, I would be p-ssed but I would also move on and hope that they AT LEAST get a WR that is a burner AND is Taller than 6 feet....
