it just annoys me how we talk shit and it gets shoved in our face to the highest degree. anyone but the giants winning the super bowl! but of course they do. the giants talk shit about mid way thru the year and it doesn't stop and of course they win the super bowl.
Maybe I'm misremembering, but before Ryan started regularly taking shots at the Giants, I don't recall them (the team, not the fans) actually and actively caring about the Jets all that much. It sucks, but we're just getting back now what our HC chose to dish out first.
I think it's always been there, Rex is just more honest about stuff. Good. I'm glad he hates the Giants, glad he's not awed by Belichick, why is that wrong? Because we didn't win the Super Bowl? We deserve it, I hate the Giants and most of their fans as much as the Patriots. Thanks Woody, for making us share a stadium with the Giants. Nice to be a lifetime second fiddle to the team we share it with. Maybe he will move the Franchise to Los Angles, maybe then his team will be the #1 in the city!
There's a difference between not backing down and being confident and just being a blowhard to be a blowhard. At the end of the day, I don't care that much, because I think he's been a good HC for the team in general, but the martyr complex some Jets fans are taking on over the Giants and others just giving him and the Jets back what he and they had coming just doesn't work that well.
