Read this article, and also all blame is going on Brady in New England. The safety and that horrendous wide open pass to welker that he missed. (Welker should have caught it, but it should have been a simple pass) http://articles.boston.com/2012-02-05/sports/31027533_1_tom-brady-wes-welker-patriots
that is brutal - brady and the pats did not impress me last night but come on guys. i guess the memories of 3 SB victories are distant. now they are focused on the 2 losses to the giants, and dare i say it - losses to the jets and ravens. wish we had that problem. same ole pats
Oh no, woe is me! My 2 time Super bowl MVP, future hall of fame QB has only won me 3 super bowls! He took us to 2 more SBs in the past 5 years but we lost them! There are 3 beautiful women who love me, my wallet is too small for my 20's, and my diamond shoes are too tight!
Fans in Boston are scum. I hope the Pats, Bruins, and Red Sox never win another championship ever again (well I've always felt that way). What shitheads. No one in Boston cared about the Cheatriots before Brady (oh wait, there was the group of people who jumped on briefly for the Parcells years). No one in Boston cared for the Bruins for decades until the last couple of years. Fuck that frontrunner town.
The Celtics were the laughing stock of the league and they had trouble selling tickets before 2007 trade.
Gillete stadium will be half filled in 5 years when Brady and Belichick are gone and that franchise is mediocre. Those fans will not show up. CANT WAIT.
Fans were chanting MVP for Kobe in TD banknorth in 05 or 06. That should NEVER happen because of the Boston/LA rivalry except well that Boston fans are frontrunners.
Just shows you how stupid the media is in all cities not just New York. I'm glad they lost, I hope they lose every game next season but come on. So they guy won't go down as the GOAT but he's better then guys like Favre, Aikman, Young, and any guy we've veer had suit up at that position for us.
Whoever goes first, the sooner the better, hopefully Brady. I'd like to see a home playoff game while I'm still able to walk up the stairs. I don't give a fuck if the Giants can beat them every four years or we can beat them once or twice in a year, nobody else seems to be able to do it, so over a 16-game season we still need one or both of them gone to ever get past them. Does anyone doubt they will go at least 12-4 next year too, regardless of how they end up in the post-season? I don't.
I hate Jet fans throwing around the "well they have won 3 SB's" or they win the division every year. Who cares? They haven't won a SB in 8 years and division titles are meaningless if you don't win a SB.
Here's the live show if you want some midday entertainment. http://espn.go.com/espnradio/boston/play?s=boston So much win.
They aren't meaningless to us because it means we have to go on the road for the playoffs every time, making our road that much tougher. I'd rather New England won the Super Bowl more often but had a few off years where they missed out on the division. We have the NFL record for ten straight road playoff games, why do you think that is? We don't get to play Atlanta at home and the 49ers, we always have to go to Indy, Pittsburgh, Foxboro or San Diego. The only way around that is to be better than the Patriots over 16 games and that's nearly impossible. Yes, someone can pick them off in single elimination at the end, including us, still makes our lives a lot more difficult.
Terrible article. Proof that writers can trash anybody when the chips are down. Comparing him to Jim Kelly? GTFO.
Exactly. Same as they've been doing to Rex and Sanchez for the past month, you'd think they had the record of Coslet and Nagle if you hadn't been paying attention. I've been on media blackout since the end of our season and it looks like that will continue for a while. Threw my Post right in the garbage this morning, never made it into the house.
