When the Jets get a D on par with that of the 2000 Ravens, let me know. While you're at it, let Rex know too.
He is. And, he also said the problems with the Jets are 100% fixable. And, he's gonna get more involved with the offense. And the defense. So, we're all good.
Spoken like a true same old fucking Jets fan. Fuck off if you don't like it! Back your team no matter what????????????? That is what a true fan would do.......back their team NO MATTER WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
He also: 1. Made us relevant 2. Gave us an identity 3. Changed the perception of the team At least that's what I keep hearing here.
The best lesson of the day is that Tom Brady doesn't mean championships without a championship caliber defense.
Don't forget he's going to get a better feel for the locker room chemistry. Damn, Rex will be busy this year.
Right. And he'll cure cancer, end hunger and be the root cause of World Peace. All that before lunch too.
perfectly said, the D can be better than last year with a decent safety. The bigger issue is on the other side of the ball.
Yeah, Tom Brady is now 0 for 2 in producing a championship when his team was only allowing 38 points combined. Like I said Tom Brady doesn't mean championships without a championship caliber defense. A good defense plus Tom Brady is not a winner in the end. Hallelujah!
Actually 19. but it's the Giants defense that won the game again. I honestly just can't get my brain around it ... how do the Giants manage to make Brady look so average? I know everyone is going to say pass rush ... but the fact is, the rush didn't do much for most of the game and they still held the Pats to 17 points. they score that many against us in one quarter! un-freakin-believable. Is the Giant defense really that much better than ours??
Exactly. A better offense will translate into the defense being off the field for longer than three plays.
