Yes, but shame on them both for playing tit-for-tat during Superbowl week. I saw an interview where Peyton said that he didn't want to take focus away from the game. Later that day, his "doctors" cleared him to play. Despicable - both of them.

Perfect example of actions speaking louder than words.

Yes, I'm sick of these inadequate losers. Favre, Pennington, Sanchez, Bollinger, Clemens...just get a real qb in here with something to prove and some gas left in the tank and let's do this. Get Manning

You're lumping Favre, Penny and Sanchez in with Bollinger and Clemens? O....K....

No. Unless we get pre-neck surgery Peyton, not that interested.

I just read on ESPN that Peyton Manning announced he's ready to sign with a team with little to no money upfront on his contract and that his contract can solely be dependent on his performance for the 2012 season and how he does i.e. get's injured again, goes to playoffs etc. I was worried about having to pay Peyton a lot of money, but honestly, I doubt he'd sign for a 1 yr deal but that's what I'd offer him. A 1 yr deal to prove that he deserves a more rewarding contract as well as an excuse to teach Mark Sanchez. But like I said before, Mark Sanchez is my guy. We have greater positions to address and those will require money we cannot end up tying amongst two players playing the same position

If Manning is healthy it would be a no brainer, dump Mark and sign Manning for a 3-4 year deal. Look at the money we would save on Mark every year. Just wondering what is the cap hit on Mark if he is traded or cut?

I can't see why Peyton wouldn't sign with Miami. Great weather, good defense, great receiver, great weather, hot Latinas women walking around in their panties. He should take his talents to South Beach.

He forgot Cliff Kingsbury and Jay Fielder. What a great year that was.

    Also, I voted no.

49ers are out of the race they said on sportcenter today. Harbaugh is sticking with Alex. The Titans also said they have no plans either and are staying with Hassleback, so they are out.

Less than 4 weeks till Peytons cut.

Pretty good article on ESPN regarding who Manning will choose......
    http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7561503/nfl-manning-choose

The following are the exact reasons in my opinion why there is no chance Manning comes to the Jets:

"The New York Jets are too dysfunctional for Manning. The locker room is fractured. There is not much talent on offense. Rex Ryan is too outspoken. It would be fun to have both Mannings in New York, but it seems unlikely."

Have you seen the field they have there? It's garbage, and it plays slow. Peyton is a some kind of guy.

    That statement is asinine.

The answer to the Peyton Manning question is NO! If the poll read "Do you want to see a healthy, fresh, young Peyton Manning come to the Jets, the answer is a resounding YES. However that is not the case. Peyton is not going to be the same, especially on a different team.

Thats the stupidest thing I have ever heard in regaurds to the Jets have no talent on offnese. Peyton took guys like Pierre Garcon, Austin Collie, Blair White, a bunch of nobodies and turn them into stars.

Peyton can turn any reciever into a star. Peyton and Holmes would be deadly, along with Kerley. We still need a deep threat but it wont be that hard to get.

The Jets have some of the best talent in the nfl on offense (minus QB) period. Our problems however become we have weakness @ RT, and some of the absolute worst depth of any team in the nfl on offense.

Look at some teams they have 6 7 8 guys that can catch, we have 3.

    Thats pretty bad

Yeah, aside from Quarterback, Right Tackle, Tight End, Left Guard, Split End, and RB, they're loaded. Plus a brand new offensive coordinator who hasn't even begun converting the blocking scheme and a brand new offensive playbook to all of the offensive players.
