he's a free agent this year, him and Greene would be a nice combo. LT is most likely not coming back.

    thoughts?

    Another "sign this guy" thread.

If you followed this board since the season ended, the way to fix the Jets it to fire Ryan and Tanny and all the Asst Coaches and hire a new staff.

Then cut, trace or release everyone on the team except Revis, Harris, and Mangold. Replace those players with any available free agent because every free agent is better than the current Jets player at the position the free agent plays. Then have the best by drafting only skill players - WRs and RBs. That is because drafting players who play in the trenches is too boring for most Jets fans.

So fire and cut everybody and sign and draft everybody else.

Rumor has Run DMC on the trade block. But he is injury prone.

This would be like the Jets trying to get Drew Brees in my opinion. Lynch is going to get franchised if they don't sign him. Seattle knows that if he walks they just ALOT worse.

EDIT: I would love to see Lynch in a Jets uniform next year but I just don't think it would happen with cap and stuff.

We need RB who can play on passing downs. Having Greene and Lynch, who have similar styles , wouldn't make much sense when we need to pass.

Complete overreaction to very sensible proposal. The tread didn't say 'cut Greene because he is useless', even if I have serious doubts about Greene as an every down.

    "very sensible proposal".

yes, because signing a top 5 RB from last year, who's team is going to do everything they can to retain him, when we have no cap space and other pressing needs is a sensible proposal.

It's amazing how much wishful thinking goes on on this forum. Here is a crazy idea. The Seahawks are def smacking the franchise tag on him. They're shit without him.

Another brilliant suggestion. Yeah, let's sign the butt-ugliest running back in the league. Things are ugly enough in the Jets organization as it is. We don't also need this ugly f**K too. How about suggesting something that will HELP our current ugly situation, not ADD to it!

In my observations, Marshawn Lynch has only run hard against the Jets. If Jets signed him, he's a guaranteed bust

Should we sign Justin Beiber? Vin Deisel? John Franco? Or how about that pasty white skinned dude from those vampire movies?

Are they handsome enough for you?
