Let's see how he does under a sensible OC and offensive system that isn't rotten to the core. Seems all the disunity amongst the players and offensive staff contributed to his regression. He's a young player who basically had a toxic situation surrounding him. I gotta give him a little slack on being bad this year.
How did you read it that way? He clearly was talking about the 2011 season. Said nothing about excuses for next year. Oh. You are a Pats fan. I see now.
I'm wondering why you even care? And no, next year is make or break time for Sanchez. I think most Jets fans will agree with that. If he can't improve under new coaching it's time to move on. If I were you, I'd be on a Giants board right now. Guess you are obsessed with Sexy rex.
Seeing that your a Pats fan from Texas, it's actually surprising that you can read, so I'll cut you some slack.
What has that to do with Sanchez being unable to understand what he's seeing on the field? Being a Bills fan, I'm an expert at QBs who suffer from the inability to read defenses, having suffered through JP Losman and Trent Edwards for most of 5 years. Sanchez could be an Edwards clone.
Yeah, I don't think any Jets fan would make excuses next year for Sanchez. Even his backers know this is his last shot.
And what "right" do you have exactly, then? Your team SUCKS. Plain and simple. Pats fans talk shit because their team is good.
He was not talking shit. He provided an opinion, based on facts, on a QB with a division rival. Isn't that what message boards are intended for?
Message boards give posters the capability to provide opinions....Yes. But many times those opinions are based on assumptions, rumors, and innuendo. Or they're just plain Made-up garbage like some of the crap I see currently...
Try to find that from Patriots protection or Saints protection. So they are playing for Superbowl this year, right? (Packers had bad protection year in and year out - guess why they never pulled anything better than 10-6 prior to this year?) Jets OL gave up less than 2 sacks a game for two years before this one. It should be taken with a grain of salt - Jets do not pass much, so their sack rate was borderline top 10 before this year with slightly above 5%, when real good protection teams have a sack rate less than 3% or so. (This year Jets are way down there at +7%, huge jump from the past two years.) And instead of trying to find the outliers, I suggest you find the usual suspects in top protection teams. You will easily find Saints, Patriots and Colts regularly up there.
Your right sometimes they are 100% the faults of the qb. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Dm547T41mM pumpfake neccessary? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zOFse_RzZ
Pause that first video at 26 seconds. Tell me who Mangold and Brick are blocking. The Steelers rushed 5 and we had 6 blockers yet one guy gets through untouched. Funny enough, Hunter is doing a great job on his guy.
Learn to count, moron. Sanchez had barely about 2 seconds to get rid of the ball. (Ball was snapped a little after 24 second mark, and was sacked a little after 26 second mark.) And you are telling me that is a damn good protection? Are you fucking stupid?
