It was an opportunity, but to me Harrison belongs at the back end of the 2nd at the very earliest. And I heard plenty of bitching from Cowboys friends of mine about the OG position. Figured I'd throw them a bone.
^ Even though most of us should of known the name careful mentioning an undrafted player. Zeitler is a great pick he was the best guard available, that whole Wisconsin line was great this year, he should really help improve Dallas's run blocking. DeMarco Murray would probably have a nice smile on his face.
I probably should edit my post too.....its a give away lol Wagner had a hell of a week and got the MVP at the Senior Bowl if I recall correctly. He's much needed at LB for the Eagles.
GOD DAMN BAKERMAKER! Hahahaa Took my sleeper for the Ravens! I didnt think anyone would draft Wagner, not because of draft value but of how many dont talk to much about him. He is an excellent ILB prospect. I think he could come into the NFL starting next to Lewis. Anyway...He is an excellent tackler, can over the RB and TE, and does posses a mean streak even though many scouts say he doesn't. He is very underrated and fits perfectly on the Eagles as a 4-3 OLB.
Coulda been prevented if only I got Luke in round 1. :drunk: I think Wagner might shoot up to early round 2 by the end of everything, MAYBE even get looked at by someone like NYG in the end of round 1. Dude's everywhere on the damn field.
Ill take the trade off... If he has a big combine I could definitely see that happening. I think hes a perfect fit for the Eagles in the second though, right around his stock value and definitely fits a need. Eagles fans should be pumped with Floyd and Wagner. Dont you wish you could of drafted Manti Te'o....
Te'o shall succeed Bart Scott in 2013.... Then again Te'o could be a top 15 pick and I want the Jets back in the playoffs so it may never be
Doesn't really have the size to play in a 34 consistently, but would be a great fit on the Eagles. Could play mlb or olb in a 43. And my #21 overall player is still on the board, eaaaaglerly awaiting who is going to get the biggest steal of the draft at this point. Top player at his position in my book.
After a lot of going back and forth...I decided on Nate Potter in rd 2 for NYJ. I think he has a terrific upside and could be flexible on the line. Needs to bulk up some, but has more ability than he's given credit.
Absolutely fine with Potter, as he is a fit at RT. Has some work to be developed but you know Sparano will want a say early in this draft with a lineman.
I see what youre saying but I think his size isnt too off, he weighed in at the senior bowl at 241 and 6'1 so I dont think he is too far off. He is a better fit at 4-3 OLB though, I agree on that. I think that #21 overall guy maybe a certain DT but I could be wrong.
Potter is a good pick, not flashy but definitely a need, he can play LT , Guard, and RT efficiently, and I think can compete for the starting RT job. I think his size is actually fine at 6'6 300 lbs but he does need to add a bit more muscle. Id like to see how well he can develop his footwork in the NFL, that and his play against pass rushers will be his biggest tests coming in.
He measured ok, but I think he bulked up some to show better this week. He's got a lean body similar to Jon Beason on the field, but he looked maxed out from what I saw. Some shorter guys can keep adding on and be fine, but already not being the greatest pure athlete in the world he probably won't stick it out. As for the position guess, you're right on.
