I know there's a lot of haters on here, but Sanchez threw more TDs than both Roethlisburger and Dalton this year. Rivers edged him by 2. It's funny looking at the AFC QBs this year. Sanchez definitely had good enough stats to get in. But alas everyone hates him, including a lot of Jets fans for no reason, so he doesn't get in and people act like he's the worst QB in the league. Lets all just relax and leave Sanchez alone. Despite the team's record and a terrible offensive line, Sanchez had a decent year, and next year will follow the same trend and improve his stats again.

I GUARANTEE Sanchez makes the pro bowl next year. Yeah I said it. He should have been in this year, but got robbed because of hate.

He would have been if he didn't throw 9 INTs in the last 3 games.

Sanchez blew down the stretch but its also because the OLine was looking more like Alpine Swiss cheese than a blocking offense and a WR quit on him. Kinda hard when 1 out of 4 targets doesn't care anymore.

Did anyone try watching that "game" last night? I tried for about 15 minutes but couldn't stand it. They weren't even trying. So bad.

One of the benefits of only watching games that have the Jets in them is that I never have to watch the Pro Bowl.

They shouldn't try..it's an exhibition and all about a free trip to Hawaii for those selected and their families. It would be a shame if somebody got hurt like Robert Edwards did years ago and he was only practicing.

I get that, but it's a worthless event to put on TV. They should come up with something that is at least entertaining in some way. Maybe if they played it in mid-May it would be more enjoyable, but not in the midst of the hardest hitting most intense football of the year. Maybe they could do a punt pass and kick type competition. Something other than that crap they put on TV last night.

Jets were in the Pro Bowl, with Jet helmets to boot!

Gotta be THE Jets. I haven't watched a Super Bowl since 2005 or so. Actually thinking back it was in calendar year 2006. It was that stinkeroo between the Steelers and the Seahawks. Along about the 3rd quarter I was thinking "wtf, this is football at it's best?"

your right they should have big hit or anything that may cause injury but come on did you watch the game? there was one run play by the nfc that both teams pretty much just walked, it was so bad, you can hear the whole place booing. to their credit they picked it up a little after that. but id be pissed if i paid money to go see that. it was a glorified practice

Those 3 Ints against us in the last game of the season were Pro Bowl worthy...

They should turn it into a benefit flag football game since that's basically the amount of contact they allow in the Pro Bowl. Touchdowns and field goals and turnovers could equal donations to the player's favorite charity.

Hell, Patrick Peterson picked off a pass in the EZ and they called him down because of 'contact in the endzone'. Dumbest shit I have ever seen.

By the way, Sanchez should not have been in the Pro Bowl this year. Whether it was injury affecting his decision making or just terrible play with no excuses, he sucked ass in the second half of the season.

Actually, Edwards got hurt playing in a rookie flag football game on the beach.

The NFL quickly got rid of that after Edwards was injured (the injury was so severe that after 2 or 3 weeks, they thought he would lose his leg).

The NFL needs to get rid of the actual Pro Bowl game before someone gets injured. It's all about MAKING the Pro Bowl for players, not playing in the stupid game.

Honestly does anyone actually expect the players to try in any kind of all-star game (except Baseball maybe). Most players just use it as an opportunity to screw around and have fun.

That's one game Sanchez would do pretty good in since the defense ain't allowed to touch the QB.

How funny was it to see a QB surrounded by D-lineman...they shake hands...talk about where the hot parties are later...then the QB launches a 75 yard TD.

The NFL uses the Pro Bowl as a promotional event for NFL football. They should fully guarantee the contracts of all players playing against injuries suffered as a result of contributing to the promotion.

All it's going to take is one serious injury and the Pro Bowl will be history.

I miss the old 'Wide World of Sports' where teams faced off on tug of war and such. And they had like the Dodgers facing off against the Patriots or whatever. Cool stuff back then.

I didn't really get why Dalton was in it. Is it because the Bengals went to the playoffs? Sanchez should have been in it over him, but it's the Pro Bowl, so I don't really care too much.

Why was Cam Newton in over Stafford?

It was laughable watching the effort. But you know what? They are in off season mode and no one wants to get hurt.

I can't fault them for that.

It's sad that a pathetic event like the Pro Bowl with an even more pathetic selection process results in players receiving bonuses. It's not really about MAKING the Pro Bowl, it's about receiving the bonus and contract escalators related to making it.
