mark's throw would be 5 yards behind the ocean, intercepted by a seagull who then returns it and drops it into kate's lap. she sees all of the media bashing and immediately dumps mark to get with the seagull. this is the only logical end to this season.
This again shows that where there is smoke there is fire. There was a serious problem with the locker room late in the year, Hopefully of the problems gets addresssed and guys step up as leaders, or we bring in guys who are going to be leaders. But another year of this should not happen.

What's the problem guys? Did I break some age old posting rule? I got on, read the 40+ posts that had been made since I last visited, and responded to the ones I wanted to respond to. The reason it was 8 consecutive is that it was like 2 am, and no one else was on. Chill!
I get that but you also have to remember that there is always a "tomorrow" and the posters that are not here would return and see this.
Oh geez, you have to be kidding me. Its not like I responded to the same post 8 times, adding new thoughts as I went. They were all different responses to different posts. And yes, I realize now what a multi quote function is, but if 8 different guys made those responses we have no problem. Why is there one now? Please, please PLEASE do not tell me this is some etiquette thing like the PC cops or something. just look at how things went on the field. he didn't even notice the infighting during the game in the huddle of the dulphins game. how clueless does one have to be for evryone to see he's a defensive coordinator and not head coach material!
Rex should have known more than he did (or maybe he's just saying he didn't know in a feeble attempt to save face...I mean I don't see many articles calling him out for that, just the predictions) but you guys do remember that were 8-5 and looking like the clear favorite for a playoff berth right? Maybe that's why the leaders didn't step in and end it because at the end of the day they were still trying to prepare for games. The tension didn't really come to a head until the Miami game and the Jets were essentially eliminated the week before by losing to the Giants.
I think it's really possible that watching the offense come unglued at the end as three decent pass rushes penetrated at will caused things to come completely unstuck. Holmes was screeching at Hunter by all accounts in the huddle at the end in Miami. That was after a season of watching bad line play kill the Jets offense. At 8-5 before the pass rushers came in the Jets probably had some hope that things might jell but by the end of the Miami game they'd come unstuck instead. Fundamental weaknesses in play caused fundamental weaknesses in character to burst into the open at the worst possible moment
Cant you think that he is just saying this to deflect the " O I knew everything that was going I just couldn't handle it or contain it" Wouldn't that cause a whole different argument one MUCH worse then what we are having today ?
