I have seen 5 titles ever as a fan. All the Yankees. I was too young to remember the Rangers in 94. There is going to be one day when the Yankees, Jets, Knicks, and Rangers are finally winning and it will be amazing. The other strange thing, is that NY teams can never be the lovable loser/underdog. Other big market cities and teams can pull it off, but NY never can because of the media bias.

When, not if, when the Jets/Knicks win it, it will be so amazing knowing you sat through the ups and downs and saw the players make the team and hustle and win that championship. That is the difference between a diehard and a bandwagoner. I can't tell you how many "bruins fans" up here in Boston don't know what icing is. So many Red Sox fans thought they won their first world series in 04.

the mistakes by the SF PR are one thing but the 2 awful calls that helped the Giants are something else- when do we ever get the benfefit of calls like those? We got ONE in 1998 and they still don't let us forget about it, the Ginat got them all season and it's a major reason they were in the playoffs and nothing is made of them.

Sure, it could be much worse.

It could be the Bills vs the Giants, and this time, the FG doesn't go wide right!

I know, I am saying if we got a call like that the media would be in uproar and every post game question would be about that missed call and how we were lucky to win. I can't remember the last time the Jets benefited. I still believe to this day Mark Sanchez was going forward in Pitt and that it was not a fumble.

Well, considering the fact that at the start of the season the Jets have appeared in 1 Super Bowl while the Giants had appeared in 4, I'd say the odds were pretty damned high that the Jets wouldn't be the team.

And as of last night, the odds got even higher.

I would say the odds are pretty good.

Why look at it that way? Think of as one of your most hated teams will have their hearts ripped out after losing the SB, just ignore the other douchebags.

Look at it this way, maybe Osi will tear one of Brady's arms off.

    ^Couldn't ask for more.

I hate the vaGinas, mostly because their fans are douche bags and thats what made me hate them. However, Fuck the Pats. I will be hoping for a Giants win.

In 2008 I was very happy to see the upstart Giants ruin what would have been a perfect Pats season. This time around it isn't like that at all. This really sucks. I feel pretty deflated about this one.

To me, being a Jets fan is like a person with Downs Syndrome trying to explain what it's like to be retarded.

Where have U been for the last 43 years? We have been LOSERs for that period of time. If you like it another way it is about 15,600 days since the NYJs won anything

Eh, the odds were not that low. The Pats were always a strong contender this year, and whether you like the Giants or not, under Coughlin they are always good. The only question is whether they will win enough during their 2nd half collapse to make the playoffs. And they were fortunate to have the Cowboys choke twice against them, and to have a game against a certain qb who yours truly cant stand in the 2nd half of the season.

Once Brady retires, things will be much better for the Jets and us fans. Look at it this way. The Giants won the division at 9-7. The Jets were in 2nd place last year @ 11-5. Who's got a tougher run to the SB?

    I'm glad that I'm Italian - WC 2006.

Otherwise I'm in the same boat. Was 13 in 86.

This is turning out to be one of the worst Jet seasons in quite some time. Not record wise, but just with everything that has gone on, and the SB is the icing on the cake.
