I've been a die hard since my dad started taking me to games. I buy the jerseys, study the stats, defend the players to death, represent my team through thick and thin, and this is what I get. I'm sick and tired of this shit. If the last two years are the closest this team was ever gonna get to a championship, then I might as well save myself the heartbreak. God forbid if they ever do win, I will hysterically cry tears of joy. But I don't ever see that happening in the near future.

i feel you man. i go to the university of illinois but i'm from nj, so i get the worst of both disappointments (the illini is the only team in ncaa history who won their first six games and then go on to lose the last 6) the illini in bball and football always have preseason hype, especially bball. in the end, we become a VERY mediocre team, one great win but only followed by really hard loses to bad teams later... basically no consistency. so many disappointing loses whether it was losing at the buzzer to a bad team or getting blown out to a good team. and now my facebook is being flooded by stupid bandwagon giants fans and its REALLY annoying. add that the patriots also made it to the super bowl and illini bball losing today. 0-3... my sports life is pretty bad some days... but always stay loyal man because one day your team will come around. i bleed orange & blue & green lol no matter how many games we lose or how many times we fail to win a championship
I'm not watching this SB. But I am rooting for the Giants to LOSE because I don't want the Giants fans to continuously shove it in our faces 24/7 from now 'till the end of time about their SB Champion Giants....derp derp derp.... I certainly can't root for the Pats so I will just say : I hope the Giants lose and Brady to get KTFO'ed(when he tries to run up the score) and replaced at the end of the game courtesy of a disgruntled sore-loser Justin Tuck.
this gets worse if you have another team completely unrelated to the new york area lose in football and basketball all the time. i am an illini fan, and in the past few years, sure we had some good games but we always underachieve and have strings of disappointing losses to other schools my friends go to. add on to the bandwagonner giant fans at home, it gets me seriously depressed sometimes. teams that i need to win dont win, teams that i want to win only win half the time, and teams that i hate always have years where they go past of what they are expected to do. basically, my sports life sucks now, and i just hope illini bball can make it into the tourney

This postseason has been the worst for me in the whole time watching the NFL, its not like we deserve the right to be in the playoffs every year and the way we played this year we kinda didn't deserve to but its sickening watching other teams. For the past two years we've got all the way to the afccg and lost and the patriots get there once and win the big game. So pissed off right now!!
It is the worst year of being a Jets fan I can ever remember - everything seems to have gone wrong this year - tbh I would rather have gone 2-14 drafted Luck and had something positive to build on than to go 8-8 and have this team more or less intact.
