Once again, my personal sports hell has come true. My 2 most hated teams make the Super Bowl, with 1 guaranteed to win it. Why must this happen? Did Namath really sell his soul? The biggest difference between this year and '08 is that I expected something from the Jets this year, and was horribly disappointed. Does it get worse than this? If so, how?
Rex made it worse with his "We're the team of New York" talk..........makes it that much more miserable.
This year really blew ass. Jets go from 2 straight AFC title games to imploding at 8-5 and missing the playoffs. It's topped off with their division rivals playing their cross town rivals again in the SB. From a Jets football fan perspective, it can't get much worse.
I literally hope the world ends February 4th, or a team plane crash, I have never been this mad in a long time

The football Gods were not pleased with Rex Ryan this year. This season was a humbling experience for Rex & Co. that hopefully they can learn from. No more quick fixes, no more guarantees...build the team the right way.
So fucking sick watching other teams go to the superbowl... Year after year. My fair weather fan sister jumps on the giants bandwagon for about 4 seconds and she already gets to see them go to 2 superbowls. I love the jets but I'm so sick of this bullshit. We had a chance to end the Giants and we blew it. Down 6 with the ball at midfield and 5 mins to play and we throw it 3 straight times? Ohhhh how I loathe you Rex and Schotty!!!!!!!
Since I'm a Yankees fan, I feel bad for you Mets/Jets fan who had to deal with the triple whammy the last four years. As for me, this is still hell.
I've always wanted the Giants to lose, but today was rooting for Coughlin, Eli, and Cruz. They have a good shot at beating the Pats. Coughlin was so humble in the after-game press conference, same with Eli. Have loved Rex, but he needs to learn from Coughlin as to public speaking.
