i have no problem wanting the giants to win at certain times. however i dont like their team this year and dont think they are very good.

i do like the teams that both sf and baltimore have put together and will be rooting for both of them.

And here's a thought, were any giants fans rooting for the jets the last two years?

Not one that I knew of. So fuck them regardless

You would think that the Jets would be rooting for anybody BUT the Pats since they are an AFC East Rival!

No I will not be rooting for the Giants this weekend or next weekend but have decided to stay off social media for the next few weeks should they and the Pats both make it. Best case scenario they both lose and I can enjoy the SB. I already told the person who's SB Party I am attending to uninvite me should the unthinkable happen.

I was a Giant fan pulling for the Jets in 09. Last year not so much, but only because I wanted the Pack to win, and I felt the Jets had become a little ubiquitous after Hardknocks, etc.

Anyway...what's with all the hate? I get along well with the Jet fans I work with. Since when is there a rivalry?

Anyone that would root for the Patriots over ANY other team has no idea how this rivalry thing works.

As a Bills fan, I'm rooting for the Giants to win it all.

The $100 I put on them at the beginning of the playoffs at a 12/1 payout may be influencing my rooting decesion :)

anyone but the giants, the patriots winning the superbowl is alright because it makes beating them that much sweeter next season.

many of us jets fans seem to have an inferiority complex when it comes to the giants. maybe its the giants stadium thing. maybe its the superbowl wins or the fairly consistent team or the strong ownership. its also partially the douche giants fans that feel it necessary to act like douches.

i have a friend who called me saying there about to start the first playoff game in giants stadium... rather than hating the giants for that i asked him how they were planning on playing in the parking lot? he was confused, then i reminded him its not giants stadium anymore. no need to hate the team over goofy shit like that. just put the douchey fans in their place and root for your team.

now if you want to talk about the dolphins, well thats another story.

Only if they play NE. Otherwise, Go 49ers & Ravens!

If it wasn't for week 16, I'd root for the Giants, but I am pulling for Baltimore (since we kind of are Ravens-lite)

That only works if they are your brother. I don't see the Giants as a brother just because they play in the same stadium/city. I see them as just another team who plays in NY. I despise the Islanders, I don't like the Mets, I won't like the Nets when they come to NY. Screw the Giants.

The first born is always the favorite, rather than hating on him think about where this team would be if our big brothers didn't let us play in their stadium.

I'd root for Nazi Germany over the Patriots.
