Here's a math lesson for you Holmes is a bad guy (1) Scott is a bad guy (1) Burfict is a bad guy (1). Homes + Scott= 2 - brufict (1) = 1 thats losing bad guy by my count

Lol please explain how those trades are of equal ridiculousness to those trades if they are ridiculous at all.

Carolina's best WR is 32 and only 5'9 their next best receiver? Jon Stewert a fricking RB with 47 receptions. They clearly need some help. They also have tons of money to blow as seen by their free agency spending last year (Johnson and Williams). Williams got out preformed by Stewert last year in many ways. I think their main objective will be getting Cam more targets to grow with. I've also read somewhere (IDK where) that Carolina would entertain offers for Williams. This is a win win for both teams the Jets dump a cancer and a huge contract and get a RB who would be a great compliment to Green and Carolina gets a stud WR to let Cam grow with and they dump a bad contract too.

As far as Ari and Scott are concerned I think it makes alot of sense too. The Jets dump his big contract and the cardinals sure up their run to so they can focus on one of their very many other needs (including OT, OG, OLB, DE, WR) also if you read what I said in the original post you'll see that ARI needs help stopping the run considering the strong running attacks in their division.

A guy who consistently bashed you, your ideas, threads, and a number of things you did yet you want him back? Smart.

To be fair him and WW85 were by far the best minds on these boards for evaluating college talent.

And theres no doubt that these draft boards arent what they used to be, seems like a lot more fantasy madden trades than intelligent deduction.

This draft forum wasnt held up by Mr E. He was a knowledgeable poster, and knew a lot about what he was talking about but it wasnt him alone that made this forum great.

This forum has many great minds like WW85, BakerMaker, GH, Harpua, TCGF, PPP10, Brickwall, Maguilla, Joe Klecko and Im sure Im missing a few others. This forum is still very good, there have always been threads that are unrealistic, but trial and error is how people learn. Not everyone is coming into this section and is all knowing, everyone learns, and shares their own knowledge and personal opinion.

Give this section an analysis when real draft time comes, then see what you think afterwards. Im sure there are many capable posters that can provide a vast amount of knowledge.

hahaha hey I said I was missing a few others, didnt mean to leave ya out there bud.

Like I said, we have a great group of people who know their draft shit and are active, we are perfectly fine in this section. The main forum on the other hand is a bit of a cesspool of intelligence and retardation.

Agreed. I never had a problem with Mr. E, but he doesn't make this forum. I enjoy this time of year, listening to you guys talk about up and coming prospects. Watching it all unwind together, bouncing ideas off of each other. It is a really good time.

There is a lot of knowledge in this forum about future NFL players, which trickles down from all of you guys, I'm glad so many of you get excited about this type of stuff like I do. :)

Youre another one I left of the list, you contribute your part in this section very well, and know your stuff.

I think this forum has a big time collective group that knows what theyre talking about and love to teach and learn, which is perfect and healthy for this board. I think with some of the negativity gone in this forum many arent as afraid to ask questions and start threads, which is awesome IMO.

Hate the idea of trading away next years 1st rounder, thats not the way teams with long term success are built. Especially for a guy like Burfict who is very mentally unstable. We need high character guys in this locker room, not ones who you have to worry about committing murder. When I first noticed Burfict, I really liked his intensity and all that but now he just seems overrated because of that- he takes to many plays off and just isnt a cerebral player. Hightower would be a better option even though he’s not as athletically gifted as Burfict.

I like the Meachem, Braylon and Griffin signings... And the Mercilus and Cunningham picks.

The trades are way too much speculation for me though

I actually think Williams for Holmes makes a lot of sense for both teams. The Panthers so badly need a #2 opposite Smith and already have Stewart and Goodson at RB, plus Williams was really bad this year. That's the type of change of scenery-type trade that never gets made in the NFL though, like it might in the MLB or NBA. So I like the idea, but I agree with some posters that if the Jets trade Santonio, they need a better backup plan than Edwards and Meachem, neither of whom is a definite #2 let alone #1.

I like Meachem over Edwards. I think that Meachem could be a very good #2 and a good compliment to Holmes. I say you keep Holmes unless you get an amazing deal but with a new OC you never know what will happen.
