Wow. This is pretty disheartening stuff for any Jets fan. I mean, can it possibly get worse? This isnt a team, no one respects anyone and this is just a bunch of arrogant assholes playing for money. This team needs to clean house, thats all that can be done.

And not Rex's? The Head Coach is just as responsible as the GM. He clearly knows his Xs and Os, but not how to actually coach a team.
I'd like to see Rex/Tanny/Woody, hell anybody, take control here. Tell the contracted players if you open your mouths in a derogatory way regarding the team to the press from this point on, prepare to face disciplinary action. I understand LT doesn't apply there, but nip it in the bud from anybody on the team going forward. Who cares if that's a 180 from Rex's previous philosophy? There seems to be no fear of punishment.

Agreed this is his make it or brake it year... either he learns what being a HC (and not a glorified DC) means or it will be his last year in NY. I don't care if things go on like this in the off-season... but the moment players go back for OTAs I want Rex and Tanny to use as hard an approach as possible.

If one of the only people on the team that are really considered a leader is saying he is pampered then he will never get any respect from anybody.
If Rex doesn't learn how to control a locker room he's going to be a defensive coordinator for the rest of his career. There is nothing more damning than a head coach not having the "pulse" of his locker room. Nothing made me more pissed than him blabbering that he had no idea about anything in the locker room. Either he is telling the truth and he is a supreme idiot, or he is lying and just didn't do anything about it...once again a supreme idiot.
