Matt Moore looked more than serviceable in the last few games for Dolphins - I guess Sparano can make something happen with Sanchez too?
I guess we aren't passing much next season, and i'm glad. If i had it my way Sanchez wouldn't throw the ball any more than 20 times a game. Ever.
Not really. 1. Naked off-tackle run to the left 2. Run up the gut. (The patented Jets attack) 3. 5 WRs running 4 yard button hook 4. Trips bunch play: Braylon and Holmes clustered together, then both run go route. 5. The notorious REVERSE. 6. Reverse FAKE! 7. Shotgun play: Receivers bumping into each other 8. Holmes flat for a yard. 9. Plaxico skinny post See? Schottenheimer is smarter than you give him credit for.
You're forgetting: 10. Keller seam route where he forgets he's supposed to look for the football 11. Keller and fullback and Sanchez right, everybody else goes left. Defense covers receivers. Throw ball away.
I'm laughing my ass off just thinking of how badly these forums would have erupted. The threads, the polls & every body creating a thread because they're too pissed off to post in another thread.
12. How can you forget the throw it to the defender for a TD (aka pick 6) play? They had that one down pat.
Yeah...it seemed pretty obvious when he left without a deal he wasn't coming..just wonder if it was the Jets or he who decided that.
Personally, I wanted Hue as a Jet. Not the biggest fan of a failed phin but if we get Hue I'd be happy shit at least meet with him
This puts a big damper on the Sparano hire for me. Obviously I still hope for the best, but I'm pretty skeptical at this point.
Same here, I was intrigued by the idea of the team-up with Sparano and Haley, even though I don't really like Haley all too much. Now... well maybe we're going a bit to far in the opposite direction from Schotty. I'll keep an open mind about Sparano, but it will be guarded optimism. And I really didn't like the vibe I got from Rex when he was talking about the Sparano hire in his conference call. It was way too diplomatic and didn't seem to be that sincere.
The guy is seasoned pro and good coach. We will see how good of a coordinator he is. Schotty was not a good play caller which made his complex schemes look well to complex. Sparano seems like a decent play caller we will find out but on the service I like the hire. He will be a good contrast to Rex and should help Sanchez grow.
