Wow, if thats true than that shows once again the fat man will most likely take a back seat instead of trying to be more involved in the offense...

  2. Rex isn't gonna change in how he handles the offense. He might be slightly more involved in game planning & will likely talk to more offensive players on a weekly basis, but this team requires a strong presence at OC. Sparano is a strong presence and deserves the right to choose the majority of his own staff.Nothing to see here.

What are you talking about???, Isn't this Jets news??? Normally the Headcoach &/or GM make all personnel hires. The OC having hiring power over 3 assistants IS news.

THIS has NOTHING to do with DOOM & GLOOM, it's just Jets news.

I think the OC has always had the right to bring his own guys. That seems like the correct thing to do.

Completely agree. We need Rex ‘s attention to be focused 65% on the god damn defense. He is still one of the best if not the best defensive mind in the entire NFL. That said, I think Sparano has the personality to both coexist, and excel here; yet another reason I want Haley nowhere near this team.

Yeah true, but we would like him to be somewhat involved. We dont want to see the same thing as last year with him not knowing anything about the offense. From the playcalling to the personnel decisions....

    normally

in fact, in just about 100 percent of the cases the OC gets to decide who he wants as his offensive assistants

of course, that's only true for 32 of the current NFL teams
