the hijacking continues. Lets set a date - say March 1 and let the gloomers wallow in their misery until then after which we can start the 2012 League year and just ignore them until they crawl back under their rocks like insects
It was probably Plax or Santonio who said that he's "Lazy" when Plax is the laziest fucking receiver in the history of the NFL who doesn't even run out routes and Santonio a guy who quit during a game. Kill that fucking noise.
I would too. I saw her interviewed on TV doing an appearance at a Bull-riding show and saying how sexy Bull-riders are. Wonder if there's trouble in paradise. [/IMG]
It's almost like these guys are reading from a script because they all say the same thing. I don't buy that Mark is lazy or lacks leadership just based on Jets West. That being said I've seen a lot of Lindley and I saw O'Connell in college and I don't think Lindley is as good a QB as O'Connell was in college.
Basically that Mark is a tireless worker and puts a lot of extra time in at the practice facility working to get better.
The things that we have read since he was drafted. How hard he works and wants to succeed. Says locker room needs to come together more, which we know now. But not before the season ended.
It's easy to kick someone when they are down. Sanchez has proven we can win with him and he has shown leadership. I thought at times this year he was forcing balls to covered guys, trying to keep people happy, who knows? He needs to take over the offense and tell these WRs he's in charge, get open and you'll get the ball. That's the next step, he's young but not a rookie anymore, if he's going to take the heat he needs to take charge.
Hard for him to say get open and you will get the ball when he misses short throws, open receivers and easy completions on a regular basis. I have no doubt he is NOT lazy and that a great majority of his teammates beleive in him. He has all the intangibles to be a leader but at this point he has said all he could about leading and now he has to let his play start to take over. You can talk all you want but now he needs to back it up with better performance. Fundamentally and mechanically he needs to be more sound. Look at Brady's mechanics. He is on the balls of his feet and on top of every throw with a compact short, quick, flick of the wrist delivery with his release point darn near the same every time while standing tall in the pocket. Sanchez has a long wind up and slings the ball rather than throwing it and his feet wide apart quite often. Hopefully, with a new staff coming in some tweaking and coaching will improve his delivery and as a consequence his accuracy will rise.
I think its safe to say his sources are more reliable than any biased opinion a Sanchez homer like you has.
maybe its just because he isnt actually lazy, which is the one criticism of him that I always felt was ridiculous (all the rest of it - fair enough).
Too many people have come out and said that Sanchez is a very hard worker which is why I question some of Mehta's sources.
Mehta and his phantom unnamed sources should either put up or shut up. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that Mehta fabricated the sources.
