If excluding the 1968 AFL title game...The biggest difference between these two teams in the playoffs... We just cannot get over the hump... Damn it, what will it take? Even if we make it to the AFC championship game...People will say we got lucky again. Life as a Jets football fan blows right about now
The Jets shouldn't be responding to an NFC teams run. They should be responding to their disappointing season.
I'm so tired of taking abuse as a Jets fan from these Giants fans. How I would love for a year to be belligerently obnoxious to these stupid assholes after a Jets superbowl win
Jet fans are concerned about righting our own ship SOJFs are more concerned about the Giants, it seems
Compared by who? Stupid fans? Mike Francessa? Who the fuck cares what the Giants do. The Jets need to focus on winning the AFC East, not worrying about the Packers choke job.
jets haven't played for weeks yet twitter is filled with kris jenkins talking about rex ryan getting tides turned about giants. cimini talking about how giants/ravens/pats final 4 being a nightmare for rex. everyone talkin about the jets. yeah, I'd say it's miserable being a jet fan.
Yeah, well when you live with Giants fans and watch Giants post season games with said fans, you do get some level of concern for the same-city rivalry. How else are we supposed to react?
I agree There are 4200 members on this board. The overwhelming number are bummed beyond belief. AND, BTW, not caring about what the Giants do while we bob along the sea of mediocrity is exactly SOJF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man, that win against the patriots feels so far away. The only thing I can say is that in the NFL anything can happen. Who would have thought the 49ers would be in the NFC Championship game and Alex Smith would develop the way he has? I'm trying to stay positive, but its tough right now. The last thing I'll say is I thing the one consolation jets fans can take is that Schotty is gone.
Small sample size is the reason I can say to Giants' fans that the Giants actually have more Super Bowl losses than the Jets. Jets are undefeated in the Super Bowl. Damn that Scott Norwood!
I care A lot of people on this board seem to care Not caring is what got us to this problem in the 90s Jets have tried very hard to get over the jump since the Parcells days Problem here is that after two years of solid progress, we've taken a step back, while the team we CO-OWN THE STADIUM WITH has performed at a pace which matches at least what we did least year. I guarantee you the Giants accomplishments, even if they end next week, will be glorified and exalted beyond belief, while the Jets accomplishments will be diminished, and disregarded Just wait and see the bullshit they'll be spewing out over the next years. Players read the papers and listen to the radio. There is a trickle down effect
