    Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter

Jets and Bills both are talking to Ole Miss OC and former Dolphins QBs coach David Lee about joining their coaching staff.

This beginning to look like Parcell's old Dallas staff. Parcell's was not always great at picking players but was great putting a staff together.

maybe they should ask tuna about how to fix the o-line, and draft some players for defense that actually know how to tackle.

He is basically the God Father of the Wild Cat for the pros, right? Blah..

He had a hand in teaching Tebow his great QB technique as well.

He does have a fairly decent background though. I don't really know if this is really the guy that will benefit Sanchez though..

I wouldent mind this. I gotta say I saw this you tube video of Chad Pennington in 08 on the dolphins and he threw the ball down field ALOT. he made Chad look like the superstar that he was supposed to be before the surgeries.

I dunno how to post videos the proper way but you all should check this out

Personally, I would love to have Chad Pennington as the QB coach, his football acumen is beyond reproach & the guy was a great field general, plus he was one of the greatest play action QB's ever.

Someone's going to need to clear this up for me. There was this guy, Sparano and Henning at Miami. Pennington did well, Henne sucked. Who is responsible for what?

My best guess, based on posts so far, is that anyone we sign was responsible for the good stuff, and the other guy for the suck?

Pennington couldn't even fix his own mechanics despite 'resolving to do so' every offseason - how could he be trusted to fix someone else's?

Besides, I'm sure he's said he's only interested in coaching at High School level.

There was nothing wrong with Chads mechanics, his problem was that he got injured too often. I suggest you look @ some film footage of him in a Miami uniform, the guy played very well for them (he beat us), if he didn't get hurt for the umpteenth time in his career he would still be their starter.

Chad undoubtably played great for the dolphins, but in no way did he go deep ALOT. If he did it was probably from some trick wildcat play where he got a pitch back and the guy was wide open. I'll give him credit that when he went deep he was pretty accurate. But he rarely went deep. In fact, I remember a stat that year that we were like 0 for 30 on 3rd downs of more than 7 yards. If we got to 3rd and long we were screwed.

But I agree with you guys that he's extremely smart and I would love to have him as a coach of some sort for the dolphins.

Also, although he didn't seem to do much for us, I know David Lee has been a really hot name for a while. People talk very highly of the guy so if you got him that alone would make me think it was a good hire.

He went deep a lot more often than he ever did here which was very frustrating considering that was one of our biggest knocks on him.

Every single offseason there would be an article about how Chad was trying to fix his mechanics. He even went so far as to take judo classes to learn how to fall down without hurting himself. Look at his damn throwing motion, for crying out loud. His mechanics SUCKED.
