Alright im rooting hardcore for the Saints so I hope that happen. But come on the 49ers are a strong team with a very weak QB. If you put a GOAT QB on that team they would be a force to be reckoned with.
And if the Colts keep him or ask a ransom for him, or he retires, then we sat on the sidelines like when waiitng for asomugha then are screwed as far coaxhing is concerned. Like how we got screwed with asohole
Does a goat qb mean they should get woodhead for the wildcat? Anyteams a force with a great qb in Goodells NFL
They had 10 turnovers all year. They had the longest stretch of not allowing a rushing TD since 1970. They allowed 14.3 PPG (2nd in the NFL) They went 13-3 (4-1 against playoff teams) How teams did against them last year is irrelevant. How does it take away from what they accomplished this year? A heaping pile of trash? Are you joking or do you just really hate the 49ers?
look who they played that says everything. Great teams beat great teams. Good records just means youre better than the teams you played, and they played garbage teams week in and week out. If they beat the saints ill deservingly give them some respect, but i truly believe they have no chance.
Man, your standards are tough. The Pats won 13 but didn't beat a team with a winning record. I'd buy that argument more than a team that beat 4 playoff teams and was DOMINANT defensively and running the ball. I don't think they beat the Saints either, but that's not an indictment of the 49ers.
big ben was crippled (he lost to fricken tebow), cinci is a joke, the cmen and lions those are legit. Look what the ravens did to them. It was an execution
And despite that, the game was still up for grabs in the 4th quarter. It was 9-3 at the start of the quarter. But yeah, the 49ers suck. 31-0 is an execution. 16-6 is not. Whatever. You have an issue with the 49ers. That's fine.
It was a strong defensive team vs a strong defensive team. A struggling offense vs a struggling offense. Its gonna be a low scoring game, and it still wasnt even close. I understand that its different than a Brady Manning shootout where one team is putting up 50 points. Plus the 49ers struggled all year vs bottom feeders like Ari, seattle, cinci. All im saying is theyre not putting up double digit wins again next year. They had a joke of a schedule and made the most of it. They still have a joke of a division, but that cant carry them forever.
I noticed someone said about Sparano hiring that they were waiting until Schefter said anything until they believed it. Well about a week ago on Sportscenter, Schefter said Manning wasn't going anywhere and it was going to be Manning and Luck on the Colts. If that helps some of the people lay to rest their clamoring for the could-be-paraplegic, I'm glad I could be of some assistance.
Anything on Peyton is pure speculation and NOT reporting at this time. Fact is Peytons future will not be determined until anywhere till around March when people get a better grasp of his health, and then go from there. Only thing that can happen before then is him coming out and saying hes goin to retire, which i strongly doubt
If Manning is healthy he WILL be a Colt, if hes not he will most likely retire, that's what I've been hearing.
They have to decide on his contract option by March, the football season doesnt start till September. Theres a lot of time to get healthy between March and September. Theres a great chance he wont be "healthy" by that March deadline, which makes me think theres a great chance he wont be a Colt. The guy wants to win, hes not retiring. Im still doubtful hes a Jet, but I think the odds are overwhelming he plays for someone other than the Colts this year. Theyre not exactly much of a contender anymore anyway, with or without him
Peyton is definitely leaving Indy, they are clearly rebuilding, no reason to pay your old QB with a broken neck 20 million anymore. I doubt he plays for the Jets but he won't be playing for Indy.
Just ike to reminder all you folks who believe that the Colts would or could not cut ties with Payton Manning.... It's a fact that Schotty will be returning to the Jets next year as our OC...:breakdance:
not saying the Jets get Manning but no way the Colts are going to pay him all that money when he has questionable health, they draft luck at #1, and they have a lot of key players hitting the open market - including Wayne and Mathis. the can't trade his contract so they are basically stuck with keep him and pay him or cut him lose...they only have two options and trading him isn't one of them.
Agree on every point you just made. Nobody except Jerry Jones is going to pay that let alone trading any picks for him. Like I keep saying if he's healthy, cut and willing to sign for a discount then I'd take him and trade Sanchez to Washington or Seattle for a 2 2nds or a 2nd and conditional 3rd
