the fat slob looked like he's gained about 100 pounds since he stopped playing. He was standing in front of a big NY Giant's insignia identified by the morons at ESPN as the empty "New York Jets" stadium

I read everything but the truth is both are just doing it for ratings, especially Jenkins "IR'd as a Jet" ass.

Some people call that a competitive trait if you replaced Mark's name with [Insert your choice of MVP QB candidate].

If he didn't get pissed at his coach we would be complaining about how "Mark doesn't have the competitive nature to succeed in the NFL."

    Sometimes you just can't win...

You really can't with this JETS Fanbase.

It's either SuperBowl or WE-SUCK-LET'S-BLOW-IT-UP.

I agree that physical and mental toughness are two different animals. But, you see what happened to Brady last year in the playoffs when the Jets hit and sacked him numerous times.

I just think all the hits Sanchez absorbed had a cumulative effect on him and really affected his passing game.

We'll see how he goes next season with proper rest, a real training camp and new coaches and game plan, I'm betting he'll come out swinging.

That's not true of most fans here.
When you are the Jets, you must be focused on getting a VLT
The success under the Rex regime is very promising but you can't rest on the laurels. So you can't criticize the Jets fans for impatience or any anger at those who lose sight of the goal. A VLT.

By the same token, most fans here realize that despite the success, there's a long way to go, and blowing up this version of the Jets is at least two years of decreasing returns away.

He basically said Mark needs to get better. Some of you guys are out of control.

    Case in point.

I would think that he has first hand knowledge of how he is treated by the organization, and the nature of Mark Sanchez.

Competitive (or I like to call it moxy) is the only thing I would give Sanchez credit for. A competitive nature doesn't mean he is a future MVP QB candidate.

Give me a shot, because I would be as competitive as anyone.

Perhaps, I don't understand what you are saying here, but my point is still valid.

3 snaps. We are not talking about a series. 3 fucking snaps. The week after he got drilled.

And what does he do? Cry to reporters. Let's not confuse competition with sulking like a bitch.
