lol, not miserable, your hopeful! I'm at time a little to hyperlogical. I know the extra pikcs are good, but also the % that they will do much of anything and go "Meh". Stupid brain. hmy:
How many of Sanchez' best friends do we have to select this time around? That said if we'll have so many picks in this upcoming draft I really hope Clinkscales doesn't get the GM job and hangs around at least one more year.
We also get a pick for the Dwight Lowery trade if I'm not mistaken so that should increase the total amount of picks. Does anyone know what we received for the trade?
I think its still undisclosed but I'd figured a 6th. However looking at the projections maybe that should be a 7th. I'm a bit confused about why the pick for Braylon is so low.
Ah, that's me being stupid. I thought it was the contract amount left behind with the old team, not the contract gained with the new. Dwight Lowery is on $2.17mn/4 years with the Jags so looks very much like a 7th rounder at best.
I'm not 100% sure on the exact numbers, but from the OP I'm guess all of ours are late round at best. Extras are extras, so its all good, but nothign we get is going to be earth shattering.
I thought we traded him to the jags. Shouldn't that make his salary a moot point? I could be wrong, but I thought the pick for him would be based on playing time and/or performance. I don't think we're getting a comp pick for him, just whatever the jags agreed to give up for him. Again, I could be wrong.
Say these projections are true, what would be the official list of draft picks? and if you could, could you possibly put their point value's as well
1. The likes of Colston could be had at 7th. It's all about how you train them and use them, not if they are qualified enough to be drafted higher. 2. I like this a lot, frankly speaking. Just in time to restock the depth, especially along the trenches. One DL and two OL picks out of the four would be sexy selection for me. The beauty of it is that, none of them would be asked to pick up the slack immediately - they will have minimum 3 years to learn the skills and schemes, and step up later when called.
The Jets should have made permission to speak to Clinkscales conditional that if he got the job, he wouldn't start for the Rams until after the draft. If not, they should get a draft pick or picks as compensation for taking our chief scout at the most important time of year.
No we absolutely 100% traded Lowery to the Jags. Compensatory picks mean shit for him since he was not signed as a free agent. That said he was traded for an undisclosed draftpick, which seem to be popular these days was most likely depending on performance/playing time. And considering he was one of the few highlights on that defense id say best case scenario we should be looking at a 4th rounder (doubtful but to be fair we had only recently drafted him in the 4th round of 08 ), and worst case maybe a 6th. If we got a 7th for him, then we simply got bent over and raped
