We took the shots....the WR's were always tied up with a DB or within 1 step of them.

I think it also has to do with the fact we play effective but not spectacular or beautiful football.

Funny thread. I always visit opposing teams message boards after big losses to see if they're as reactionary as we are. You guys should've been on Pittsburgh or Atlantas boards yesterday. Absolutely hysterical.

The # of threads I saw about wanting LeBeau to retire or be fired was mind-boggling. Guy has a top 5 defense EVERY season, and yet they wanted him gone over one inept showing (with half the defense injured no less).

Atlanta was even worse. Most wanted the team to clean house cause Ryan would never be more than an above avg game manager.

Good to see, its not just TGG hehe

5 titles in 15 years is a pretty good tradition.

    That's what happens when :

A.) You have a RT who practically escorts his man to the QB

    and

B.) You lack the Deep Threat we had last year.

I like your optimism, but if Brian is back we are screwed on so many levels.

1 title in the past 10. See how easy that was? (bitter Mets fan)

Exactly....and it's not just a poster here or there....it's like 1/2 the posts.

LeBeau is a legend, now that Jimmy Johnson is dead (R.I.P), he is the most notable DC since Buddy Ryan in the 46 Defense. And guys are blaming him (and Taylor)

    Game manager....rings a bell for some reason. : D

The panic or outrage of many Jets fans this season kinda reminds me of Knicks fans when they were the only team to really challenge the Bulls in their championship run (pre-Jordan retirement). There's just something about being almost there that drives fans more nuts.

Eagles DC was Jim Johnson - I rarely heard of him called Jimmy Johnson. (Still similar, but you can distinguish.)

Braylon has to come back. Get this guy cleaned up and get him back on this team.

    Homegrown defensive starters...

    Piouha

Homegrown players who saw a fair amount of playing time...
