Really high on Mercilus lately. Won't get a chance to watch the SC game today but I like Jefferey and I'll be interested to see what you all have to say about Ingram.

Agreed. If he comes out he's the only safety worthy of real late first/2nd round consideration.

What about Shawn Williams - Georgia's other Safety? What are the chances he would enter the draft and where about would he be drafted?

A little better than Smith, but not one of his strong points. If the Jets replace both safeties, I would feel more comfortable with a better coverage guy next to him.

More of a mid round prospect that I see coming back for his senior year. Played some linebacker at times this year aswell.

Brandon Boykin had a huge game today.

Probably will be a solid Rd 3 prospect, excellent kick returner and playmaker.

Will need to develop more and could be a decent nickel/dime CB.

    Height is listed at 5'10", I think he's closer t 5'8.5" or 5'9''.

Montee Ball is making strong push for the 1st round right now.

I could see this dude staying in Wisconsin as a pro.

Michigan State's defense will have many bowl prospects in a year.

Worthy (JR) Will be a first round pick.

Gholston will be a first round pick next year.

Any views if Upshaw would be a reach for us at 15?

    *16

And reach? HELL NO. Hed be a solid pick for us, great run defender, constantly collapses the pocket, extremely strong, and has always been a 3-4 OLB.

Him and Whitney Mercilus would be excellent picks as OLB's for this team.

thanks, I don't follow college football much so I was just wondering what could realistically be available. Do you think he or Whitney would be available at 16?

That, at this point, is the great unknown. Someoen with talent at an area of needs is falling our way, but who is up in the air. Its possible both are there and possible both are gone. Picks 10 - 15 could go a number of ways for eac h team that all make sense.

In my opinion one or the other will be there, one team will fall in love with one of them and draft em. I think that will be the Bills, most likely drafting Upshaw for their #3 pick last season Marcell Dareus, both great friends and teammates at Alabama. I think we will probably end up drafting Mercilus unless someone with extreme value is there.

I was thinking the exact same thing, if we can pick him up in the 2nd/3rd round I would be very pleased.

    UPDATE
I read as of 1/12/12 (today) that he will not be coming out for the draft :(
