This guy reminds me of Donovan McNabb. Maybe his coaching sucks, but he misses wide open receivers.

If the offensive line plays better, especially at tackle positions, we'd be in the playoffs.
If the coaching and offensive playcalling was better, we'd be in the playoffs.
If the defense does it job in either NE game or in Denver we'd be in the playoffs.
If this team doesn't completely selfdestruct in Philly or in Miami, we'd be in the playoffs.

I disagree completely. I'm neutral, I don't have any side to be clear.

To think that Sanchez was the sole reason we missed the playoffs is not a fair statement. He had his fair share of miscues. Agreed. He was not the reason we didn't make the playoffs though. If that were the case, we would have never sniffed the playoffs the past two years.

Think about it.. Sanchez didn't play worse then he has the past two seasons. Yet, we made it to two AFCCG in a row with lesser play from our QB.

So how can anyone blame Sanchez solely? It makes no sense.

If our entire team didn't have their head up their own ass's most the year, we would probably be in the playoffs. That is the bottom line.

Coaching & Players are both equally to blame. It's not one person that solely hurt our chances to get in. That is bullshit to me.

Defense played amazing in Denver except for one drive. If we had an offense that put up any kind of points that game is long over. Sanchez also threw a pick 6 that game.

    +10000000.

I find it amusing how when other QBs like Stafford and Freeman lose, it's because of their teammates but when Sanchez loses, it's because he lost the game all by himself. Really, people? REALLY?

Football is a TEAM sport, last time I checked.

You win AS A TEAM, You lose AS A TEAM.

It's the same as the Jax game in '09. It doesn't matter how well the D plays, if it folds when it matters most. Just as this thread is supposed to point out, what does it matter if Ryan played well in the regular season, if at the first moment in the playoffs he shits the bed badly.

And if your not putting blame on the D, how can you asses then some on Sanchez because of his pick-6? No game winning points came out of that, they came on Tebow's final drive.

If the only argument people have that Sanchez is a better qb than Ryan and Stafford is because they haven't won a playoff game, then Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson are fuckin god.

If he didn't throw a pick 6 that game winning drive isn't a game winning drive. Matt Ryan is so much better then Sanchez and its not even close. Mark Sanchez hasn't won us anything in the post season. We got to 2 AFCCGs and lost who cares.

Matt Ryan never had a defense as good as the Jets defense in 09 or 10.

If the defense steps up when it matters most, the pick-6 doesn't matter. Matt Ryan has not won anything either, not even a playoff game.
I don't know about you, but this team has only once been in back-to-back conference championship games, Mark Sanchez has been the QB during that time.

Mark Sanchez never has had as good of a supporting cast on O as Matt Ryan has had in his whole pro career. He has put up nice numbers during the regural season but has folded when it has mattered most.

I'd take Matt Ryan over Sanchez easily.

it's prolly been mentioned already, i didn't have the patience to read through the entire thread tho.

i'm a sanchez supporter but i really hate seeing all these 'HAHA this guy can't win in the playoffs like sanchez does' thread, they're so useless.

their current failures change nothing of our current state and of our season.

i want sanchez to win the SB with us, and i hope he does. once he does that, then we can make as many 'haha Sanchez won us a SB and this QB can't win one for his team' threads as we want.

Neither has Sanchez, except winning 4 playoff games on the road, beating 4 division winners and the NE Patriots.

    Aside from that, nothing.

Guy stinks, I heard it all the time the last 3 weeks.

Matt Ryan sucks, they draft a WR, load him up completely and all he had to show for was 0 offensive points. AHHAHAA.

The Falcons are done, Panthers are gunna run them out of that division.
