If were looking for a good, complimentary back for Greene I think Snelling is the answer. He's not gonna be getting a ton of money because he hasn't earned it but from what I've seen the past 2 seasons I like him a lot. He'd be our best bet without shelling out tons of $$ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aDZwOncB8io
I'd rather just give Powell a shot. RB is a plug and play position and we did use a draft pick on him.
There the youtube link in my original post I want someone who can just play i don't want to have to deal with rookie mistakes (Ie, fumbles, running the wrong way to take a hand off)
Veterans fumble and make mental mistakes too. I'd rather use the cap space to try to improve the teams' truly deficient areas which are OL, WR, LB & S.
David Wilson from VT would step in and provide a boost to a underperforming backfield. Would most definitely be better than Jason Snelling. This is his career highlight reel Im assuming, and its 1 minute long with about 6 plays... he wouldn’t help our backfield much.
With all the wholes we are going to need to address this offseason, I think we should leave RB alone during fa. Let's see what we can do about OL, WR, LB, S. The combination of Greene, McKnight, and Powell should be serviceable enough. Improving our line would make a much bigger impact to our running game than adding another Average RB in the offseason.
