Good riddance Lions. Giants/Falcons have to go to Greenbay. Im sure the Falcons want revenge for last years debacle.

Oh come on... you've gotta give her that one. Funny wife!

(I have to defend her here. I am married to a Vikings fan and have said some terrible... terrible things.)

Jets pepsimax ad makes me cringe. Everyone is bashing the Jets anyway. No need for more ammo.

They debut the ad after the Jets have their season crushed.

No doubt. I love that she's a passionate, diehard football fan. And yes, it made me laugh (a little). Fortunately she has bad taste in football teams (and men).

Do the lions even start a secondary or figure they can win without playing any pass defense?

Give Matt Millen some credit -- after a bunch of offensive and WR busts, he could have passed on Johnson and taken someone else. But he realized this was a can't-miss guy and took him and then the new regime got the QB.

Anybody here think the 49ers have a decent shot at picking off the Saints or Packers?

You are the first person in the universe to say, "Give Mat Millen credit" when not talking about his on field playing days.

Better I can agree with, MILES I want to think about.

They have a good OL and CJ is a stud. Great hands, great speed, and 6' 5" tall.

    Ugggg....................

    ANOTHER TD FOR JOHNSON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Calvin Johnson is absurd. If not for his ridiculous ability to get open and catch anything near him Stafford would actually be having a pretty poor game.

Last receiver to have over 200 yards in a postseason game was Steve Smith against the Bears in the 2005 playoffs. His stat line 12 receptions 218 yards and 2 TDs

Don't think about it. I don't care who his WR is, he threw for 5000 yards with no running game.

He is worlds ahead of Sanchez.

It's not a knock on Mark. He just isn't as good as Stafford.

He was a lousy GM but at the end, he took a guy he knew would be an All-Pro for a decade and took the slings of "HE TOOK ANOTHER WR !!!" because he knew it was the right thing.

Alot of GM's would have taken another player, esp. a defensive one, just to keep some heat off themselves. Look at how Terry Bradway was influenced by the public and press.
