I still think the Saints will eventually blow them out, but the Lions are crazy enough to stick around. They won't panic if down by 7+ points because the coach won't let them. Jim Schwartz is pretty darn good. He is one of a half dozen guys I wanted instead of Rex Ryan (I am not a Rex Ryan fan).
So let me get this straight, the Refs call the play dead for the Saints when it wasnt even close, yet when the Sanchez got hit in the AFC Championship game and it was very close, they dont call the play dead and the Steelers score a TD. This league is rigged, should be 21-7 lions right now.
Im sick of these star QBs getting all the calls by the Refs. I remember seeing a screen play where Brady was trying to block but got knocked down and they call a roughing the passer. Fuck the NFL.
Seems so. But he also strikes me as a pretty big jerk. I don't know what it is, but I find him just a little annoying.
I like his fire .....on the field. But I would imagine in real life it's pretty annoying. He strikes me as a guy with a classic case of "little man syndrome," even though he isn't a little man. ....and maybe a wife beater.
I liked him when he coached the Tennessee defense. He does seem to be a little jerky, though. Maybe a smarter and less clown-like version of Rex Ryan .
Occurs to me with Schwartz that Belichick's Cleveland assistants seem to have enjoyed more success than Belichick's New England assistants. Funny.
JJ Watt's INT returned for a TD was the first INT returned for a TD by a rookie since Tommy Polley did it for the Rams in a playoff game against the Packers in the 2001 playoffs.
