still want Dalton over Sanchez after him throwing 3 picks in today's game? God forbid, if sanchez did that, some of you would've wanted him out of this town after his rookie year
Did anyone ever want Dalton? I think they wanted a good NFL QB. To be fair to Dalton only 1 INT was bad, the third, the first was a great play by Watt and the second was a good play by Dalton to essentially punt since no one was open.
I don't think dalton was as bad as the stats may make it look. I would love to see what Sanchez could do with a guy like A.J. Green
Not that it matters, but Dalton already had more INT in one game than Sanchez has in 6 playoff games.
Couldn't you have just finished this dull question in the thread title so people wouldn't have to waste their time clicking on this boredom??
well, i am not sure if any used the word "wanted" dalton over sanchez, but after have reading the forums for a while, everyone kept saying how dalton's sooo much better than him, which i would assume mean they would want dalton over sanchez Cellar-door: "Did anyone ever want Dalton? Sanchez had couple ints against the Dolphins by the D-line, n no one gave him a pass...now u want to give dalton a pass?
B-b-but Dalton carried the Bengals. His stats are better...Than Sanchez Fuck Dalton. When it's do or die he caved. My QB has done this shit 4 Times already. St the fuck down
Its funny that when Dalton gets picked off by Watt, the reaction is "its not a mistake, it was just a freakish play by a great player. Not Dalton's fault"... But when Sanchez does it and gets picked off by Randy Starks on a play thats identical, pretty much the only difference is that Dalton was throwing to a receiver 15 yards away instead of 5, its "Sanchez fucking sucks, how do you get picked off by a lineman at the end of the 2nd half"
Sanchez had a VERY good defense and VERY solid running game in '09-10. Dalton had neither. I'd take Sanchez over Dalton at this point, but don't shit on Dalton because he is a rookie, who minus the playoffs, had better numbers than Sanchez' rookie year. Just because you are a Sanchez homer, doesn't mean Dalton is bad. Sanchez also took over a 9-7 team. Dalton took over a 4-12 team.
Cinci's defense is 7th, which is pretty damn good. Dalton also came in with a great receiving threat at TE (Gresham>Keller) and A.J. Green who is the best prospect at WR since Calvin Johnson or Randy Moss. Dalton did have a very good year and he is getting the credit he deserves. Aside from some Jets fans, no one gives Sanchez credit for what he's done...
The Bengals had a pretty good defense this year. They also had AJ Green and more capable receiving targets. Sanchez has never had a guy like Green to work with either.
I'll crap on dalton as much as i want, he didn't win his first playoff game, sanchez did...all there's to it
I know their D is 7th, but they are not as good or as talented as the Jets D the past 2 years. The Jets were 3rd in 2010, and 1st in 2009. On the other hand, their rushing game is hardly prolific, meaning Dalton had way more pressure than Sanchez had as a rookie. The Jets were 4th in rushing in 2010, and 1st in '09. I think Dalton responded very well. His stats are solid. I'm all for giving Sanchez the credit he deserves, but Dalton does not deserve to get shit on.
