We're trying to post positive comments so that we can play our part in getting him the JAX job and thus the hell out of here. MJD will be just fine in Schotty's system. All those passes mean that he'll incur much less wear & tear on his body. Under Schotty, MJD will be the first RB to play well into his 40's.
How much you want to bet he's selling himself by saying he helped the Jets get to the AFC championship game twice with Sanchez and from what he's seen Blaine Gabbert has even more potential then him and could turn him into a much better player?
I agree and I've posted that before. I actually think that he has a better shot of landing a college HC than NFL.
Great. I hope he says this. I hope he throws SAnchez competley under the bus Can anyone text him this?
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/01/06/dont-be-shocked-if-hue-jackson-doesnt-last-in-oakland/ if this was to happen schotty's departure would be immediate
I'm surprised he wasn't fired after trading away their future for an aging and inconsistent Carson Palmer who's more of a turnover machine than Sanchez.
How is that embarrassing when the college team considered him as an OC? To the contrary, an NFL team is considering him as a HC.
Schotty's contract extension almost makes him bulletproof. Woody ain't gonna eat the contract no matter what.
i don't think so.i think they are waiting to see if he takes another job first. there's no sense agreeing to eat the whole thing if they don't have to
Is this Rex's call to make, though? He didn't get to bring in his own OC when he was hired. Schotty seems to have strong ties to (or damning evidence on) Woody and or Tanny.
the way i understood it.if jackson was available when rex was hired rex would have brought him in.it's only because jackson wasn't that rex stayed with schotty. i could be wrong though
Not really. It's like how you have to interview at least one minority coach. Part of the new NFL labor agreement requires you interview one retard. JAX is just filling the quota by bringing Shotty in.
