For three million in cap savings? Absolutely. He'd probably be an upgrade from day one as well. And I'd leave him right at RG too.

Some have suggested to move Slauson to RG and let DeCastro have a learning curve between D-Brick and Mangold.

I guess it all depends on who our RT is next season. Free Agency would be a possibility at RT. I would hate to start 2 rookies on the right side, even though DeCastro is better than most OGs in the NFL right now.

WR, OLB & O-Line need to be one of the positions addressed in Rd 1, DeCastro is the most NFL ready for what's going to be available at #16.

I'm not a big fan of Ball, he doesn't have that burst and I don't think he'd do well on the NFL level.

I've said this before, he'll lose some of his best attributes when he goes to the next level ala Mark Ingram. His collegiate power won't be there for him, so he'll have to rely more on his technical and mental attributes.

I will say he's putting more wear on his body by staying, no matter what type of grade he received...

Exactly, his style might work in college but considering he doesn't have that burst I don't see it working against the sheer amount of athletes in the NFL.

I'm guessingit was a mid round grade, 4 or 5. His game will be limited in the pros and maybe not all that sucessful. Its smart to stay in school at that point, get your degree, then take you NFL chances.

Hearing rumblings that BOTH Boston College's LB Luke Kuechly and Florida St's OLB Brandon Jenkins could both be staying in college.

Could be a huge blow dealt to the LB core and could boost up Upshaw's draft status because of such. Same with Burfict who could end up smelling like roses.

Yeah Upshaw might be a top 20 lock now barring him stinking it up in the combine.

Possible top 15 lock if he plays his cards right. Bruce Irvin the OLB of WVU might not even be around for the Jets to pick come round 2 so Upshaw might be immensely appealing.

He has to get past the Bills and the Cardinals. That will be tough.
