Guys!! I hate to be the thread police!! Some of the crap being posted in the last few days is annoying. "Lets draft a DE with every draft pick" Stuff that makes Madden look good. I won't tolerate crap in the draft forum, I've earned the respect of this board and I don't want this forum to turn into the BS forum. I know this doesn't appy to the majority, but if you can't contribute in a meaningful way...don't bother. From this point forward, any nonsense threads will be deleted. Thx, WW85
Also, the safeties in this draft arent first round caliber! Before you post that we should draft Mark Barron or Robert Lester in the first because they played at Bama read up on the draft! Look at the threads and posts from the more reputable draft guys on TGG. If you're a new comer to the draft ask plenty of questions as well! Most who frequent the draft forum love to talk about prospects and value. Just my two cents!
I don't mind someone thinking Mark Barron is a rd 1 prospect. Barron is a very good player. I have an issue with wise ass comments and nonsense. I guess I'm a little more subtle than some previous posters that would tell them to "Die in a Fire".
Should I pick up where Mr. E left off? Board just isn't the same without constant threats of death and belittling of posters.
NO its not the same, and the majority of posters are much happier for it. There are several here that prove you can be knowledgeable and not a complete asshole. I appreciate them all.
I do a lot of research, but don't pretend I see near as much NCAA ball as you, GH, Baker Maker, or WW. I may get two partial games a week in during the season and watch a lot of bowl games. You all know a lot more about the programs than I do. I tend to love reading things like draft metrics and such. I guess I'm a silly nerd that way lol. As for t he complete asshole thing, I'm working on that. I'll change really I will !! .... ok I'll hide it better! :lol:
Idk about me man, I just got into this draft stuff about 3 years ago since I was 16. Im getting better at it as days go on and I learn about new players and what NFL scouts really look for. I give big props to WW, GH, and BakerMaker they know their shit to a tee. I hope soon enough I can get on there level of knowledge, although I really do appreciate the comments. It makes me feel like my attempt to learn this stuff more and more is working. But what I was saying before is you're a very good contributor yourself, you know what you are talking about, and actually get what the draft and prospects are all about. Many cant say the same. As for the asshole thing, try and throw in some death threats or tips on suicide into every comment. Thats a good way to start :rofl:

This really is the best place on this forum. Talking about the draft and the future provides hope from the yet once again disappointing season. We can talk about how to improve the team instead of bashing it and saying signing Peyton Manning will solve all of our problems. The draft forum is greatly appreciated! I learn a ton from this forum and feel like finally I can contribute a good amount after doing the necessary research. Even with the loss of major contributors and draft "experts", I feel like the quality (for the most part) hasnt really dropped.
The draft forum works in a big cycle. You have the regualrs here, then rgiht after the season up untill april you see a lot of others come by. Some are good, some throw out wild ideas (lets trade everyone! Cut 23 guys they are grabage, ect) WW does a good job of keeping this place clean. Its been a good forum for anyone to learn about prospects and football as a whole. Its a wonderful place to talk about the Jets future and ignore the mess that is the main forum right now. That one is a long running over reactive joke ATM.
