Taylor wasn't picked until late in the 6th round. Put up better passing numbers then Mcelroy in the preseason also.
I dunno, what are both of their passing numbers? I heaqd ESPN saying after 3 games, McElroy had the best numbers out of all back ups in the league, and better numbers than a lot of starters...
Preseason rookie year passing numbers don't mean jack. Taylor is a talented player although I'm not sure I want my backup quarterback running the wildcat--there's too much of an injury risk, particularly for a relatively slight guy like Taylor.
cough, McElroy rated number one, Taylor is a FAAAAAAAR distant 3. McElroy 87.9 Passer Rating Taylor 66.5 Roll tide Walnuts...Roll Tide.
Going into game 3, McE had one of the best QB ratings in preseson. Where are you getting your Taylor info???
Somewhere, Vinny T smiles, rises from his Barcolounger and brushes the Doritos-chips off of his wife-beater.
Kellen Clemens actually looked pretty good for Washington, threw a TD bomb to win their last game the other night in limited action. I read in the NY Post that he may be on the bubble there but I find that hard to believe, I think they will keep him. I was never a huge fan but given our situation if they did cut him I'd take him back in a second.
Bump McElroy JETFIGHTERS:Not one 1st rounder QB in the 2011 draft has been better than 7th rounder Greg McElroy. NO NOT ONE! Greg McElroy is NFL ready, when was the last time you have seen a rookie come in and dominate? He is something very special. It usually takes a rookie 2 to 3 years to develop (Revis anyone?) Mangold and Harris are the only other players I see besides McElroy who came in to this team and made an immediate impact. Give credit where credits due. Some players come in their rookie season and you know they are going to be probowlers. Harris has been ditched and negleted by the NFL and by all rights, should have been in the probowl since day one. He just quitely does his job and in my opinion is the best if not one of the best ILB in the entire NFL period! So leave me alone when I talk about McElroy. He is a shooting star and will take over this team, I hope some day. He has mental and physical toughness that Sanchez does not have. I like him, not pro McElroy over Sanchez, but he is one tought cookie. I like Sanchez, but we stuck gold in 7th round McElroy.
Oh shit the wedding scene had me dying  Interested to see what he can offer at the very least, roll tide.
On of my favorite ESPN commercials! The kid has the accuracy and smarts it would seem, if he could get his arm strength up he could be workable. Roll Tide
