The only onds i would love to comeback out and say something at this point are mangold and revis, Sanchez is too poor and controversial at this junction, but if revis and mangold said something people would listen, unless of course they are culprits of what McElroy is saying. Then we are all doomed.
What difference does it make who says what from now on? We know everything sucked this year Lets move forward
Back on topic, I have no problem with McElroy voicing his opinion like this, I actually respect him for having the balls to go public with it. However, I could definitely see him being released for this, as much as I do not want it to happen.
Agreed, it shouldn't even need to be said. This kind of thing comes when you gamble on rejects like Holmes, Burress and Cromartie. We need to start drafting better throughout the WHOLE draft.
Somebody tell me that McElroy couldn't have run the Jets shitty little offensive "scheme" this year? Please.
What other 8-8 team, eliminated from the post season, continues to DOMINATE the air waves? Front page of NFL.com? check ESPN hourly? check Jim Rome? check TGG? check Completly insane. And some of you said the NY Football Fn Jets are no longer relevant. Shame on you!!!
I hope the Jets cut him because I'd take him in a second. He's a poor man's Andy Dalton and he's a winner.
Ummmm, I think every media outlet and other fan bases are laughing their ass off at the Jets organization right now. Yep, the Jets are still relevant.
mr nyjet: the kid just became my favorite jet. Amen! He is also became favorite NYJ as well. I liked him from his 1st pre-season. Bama Tough, Championship Proved! Leader.
What about a winning record through three years, 2 playoff appearances, 4 playoff victories in 3 years, one being the hated NE Pat's in Foxborough, and 2 appearances in the AFC Championship games isn't indicative of tough or of a leader to you? You want to put a 7th round draft pick who has only faced 2nd rate defensive talent and schemes, who recently spent an entire year on IR infront of Sanchez? By any chance are you on any medication?
McElroy is Mike Vanderjagt...a non-player shooting his mouth off about stuff that doesn't really concern him. The Jets' issues are plain as day to anyone who followed the team this year. He's not drawing needed attention to the discord, he's just exacerbating it. STFU, rook.
Now that McElroy spoke the truth, Mr. T will do what he always does to those who speak the truth: send his ass packing to Seattle to serve Gatorade during timeouts. What a Clown Act this team is. Brought to you by: S.A. Johnson, a family company
I;ll tell you what. If the Jets want to cut him for telling the truth, I wouldn't be surprised to see him end up in Foxboro. Hoyer is a RFA next season, and Ryan Mallet will be ready to be the back up next season. There were a number of draft gurus over at Patsfans.com that liked McElroy in the 7th round, and nothing he did in the pre season wouldn't confirm that he was a nice pick at that spot. BB has close ties to Alabama. He knows the kid well. There was no room for him in NE last season. There would be next year. So cut him for being honest, and keep Holmes for being a dick, and the thank you note will be in the mail shortly.
