A friend of mine in Orlando said McElroy was on the air down there doing a radio interview and he was just killing the Jets locker room and the way the team was run. Trying to get a link.
Not fake news: RichCimini #Jets rookie QB Greg McElroy tells Ala. radio station this is "first time I’ve ever been around extremely selfish individuals." cont... RichCimini McElroy, cont... there was "corrupt mindset" in locker room, players cared more about stats than Ws and Ls. "Not a fun place to be." #Jets
Even if its the truth, isn't he just perpetuating his own criticism? How is this constructive in any manner?
McElroy is probably right but he has to use his head and know not to say this as a 7th round IR QB. His job could be immensely in trouble for his comments even though I like McElroy's makeup moving forward.
If true, this is a serious indictment of the Head Coach. Rex clearly has lost control of this "team".
This starts at the top with Tanny letting Rex say/do whatever he wants. Rex letting the team say/do whatever they want. And Holmes (El Capitan) lead the team by honoring the captain namesake and quitting on the field. Our team is straight gangsta. Thug Life!
Agreed. How could Rex have been so oblivious when there were clear signs of this type of conflict brewing throughout the season.
They pulled the article already, Mambo. edit: No, they didn't: http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/je...rrupt-mindset-in-jets-locker-room-with-extrem
I completely agree. Not sure what Rex can do to reign in the team. Can't believe this happened just a few days after Rex made a tearful plea for the team to come together.
